  • Patent number: 12339829
Abstract: A data processing system with a dataset multiplexer that enables applications to be written to specify access to datasets as operations on logical datasets. During execution of an application by the data processing system, operations that access a dataset are implemented by accessing an entry in a dataset catalog for the logical dataset. That entry includes information to access the physical data source storing the logical dataset, including conversion of data from the format of the physical data source to the format of the logical dataset. An entry in the catalog may be created based on registration of a data source with the dataset multiplexer and may be updated automatically based on changes in storage of the dataset. This maintenance of the catalog may be partially or totally automated such that the system automatically adjusts to any changes in storage of the dataset without need for modification of any application.

  • Patent number: 12337860
Abstract: The disclosure relates to simplifying the integration of a peripheral with a vehicle. The complexity of modern vehicle electronics means that integration of a peripheral with a vehicle requires a reconfiguration of the vehicle electronics in order for the resultant upfitted vehicle to function as desired by the user. This restricts the set of users and enterprises which are able to successfully integrate a new peripheral with a vehicle. To make the task more approachable, a software application is described which presents a user with a graphical user interface enabling them to specify, at a high-level, rules of behavior for the upfitted vehicle. From the user's inputs via the graphical user interface, the application creates configuration data to be applied to the vehicle electronics in order to produce the desired behavior in the upfitted vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12339437
Abstract: An integrated circuit includes an electrode voltage controller, a micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) structure, and a bias voltage generator. The MEMS structure has a first electrode, a conductive plate, and a reflective layer on the conductive plate. The first electrode is coupled to the electrode voltage controller, and the conductive plate is configured to move vertically with respect to the first electrode responsive to a voltage generated by the electrode voltage controller and applied to the first electrode. The bias voltage generator is coupled to the conductive plate. The bias voltage generator has an input configured to receive a bias control signal. The bias voltage generator is configured to apply a non-zero bias voltage to the conductive plate responsive to the bias control signal.

  • Patent number: 12340883
Abstract: Initiating preventative action by a HIPAA-compliant computer security method and system for recording, using a video camera, electronic visual personal health information of at least two individuals, including an individual under care, and preventing unauthorized access of the user to the video information. The video is compared to physical attribute information of the individuals stored in the computer system's memory, and the individuals are identified by facial matching. The user's stored caseload has authorization profile information including access to individuals under care. The identified individuals are compared to the user's caseload information, and the user is granted access to part of the video of the individual under care, the video of the other individuals is blurred, and the resulting video is transmitted to the user's caseload for viewing. The video information is interpreted, a negative outcome is indicated, and a signal for initiating preventative action is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 12336599
Abstract: The present invention relates to a clothing string clip that attaches to clothing strings. A user pivots the rotatable hub, opening the front plate with respect to the back plate. The open position exposes a portion of the interior region including the contoured clothing string recessed channels. The user inserts a clothing string across the contoured clothing string recessed channels and into the clothing string channel. The user releases the top plate. The spring pivots the rotatable hub, aligning the top and back plates closed. In the closed position, the clothing string clip constricts and grips the clothing string within the contoured clothing string recessed channels and the clothing string channel, abating slipping of the clothing string clip along the clothing string during use, such as wearing, by the user. The user can press the front and back plates together to release the interlocked front and back tabs before opening.
