  • Publication number: 20250191822
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for inducing magnetism in a flowstream of at least partially magnetisable, dry particulate feed material, in order to effect a subsequent particle classification. The dry separation stage is located proximal to the magnetic induction apparatus, in the form of a treatment chamber 10 with a plurality of spaced-apart magnets 16, 18 located adjacent to, and moveably displaceable along the length of both an upper and a lower side region of the treatment chamber 10, to generate a localised magnetic induction field zone. Conveyer belts 22, 24 carrying the dry particles move across each of the outer faces of the magnets 16, 18 on both sides of the chamber 10, but at differential relative velocities to each other, creating a region of air-particle fluidisation and agitation within the treatment chamber 10 and then a physical separation of the particulate feed material can occur based upon their susceptibility to magnetic induction.

  • Publication number: 20250190575
Abstract: Methods and systems for assessing a software bill of materials (SBOM) include building a knowledge graph from repositories, using function fingerprints of software packages in the repositories. Dependencies of an application are identified using function fingerprints of the application and comparing to function fingerprints of the software packages. A quality score for an SBOM of the application is generated based on a comparison of the identified dependencies to claimed dependencies of the SBOM. An action is performed responsive to the quality score.

  • Publication number: 20250190553
Abstract: A computer implemented security method security method is described, for detecting attacks on a system or network. The method comprises defining a sequence of attack tactics, each attack tactic representing a generalisation of a set of attack techniques, associating one or more attack detection rules with each of the attack techniques, detecting attack events based on the attack detection rules, correlating the detected attack events with the attack tactics based on the attack technique associated with the attack detection rule used to detect the attack events, linking the detected attack events based on one or more criteria, and identifying one or more paths of attack techniques through the sequence in dependence on the linked attack events. The identified paths of attack techniques represent kill chains. The present technique makes it possible to identify new kill chains of known techniques, as well as making it possible to identify high-risk kill chains.

  • Patent number: 12328201
Abstract: Disclosed is an approach in which news alerts are scanned in real-time or near real-time, relevant alerts identified through a topic extraction model, and associated actors identified through an entity extraction model. An entity resolution model may be applied to determine which actors are clients. The topic extraction, entity extraction, and/or entity resolution models may apply, for example, natural language processing models. The alert may be enriched by being packaged with client and transactional data to generate an enriched alert. A predictive model may be applied to the enriched alert to identify events with a high probability of law enforcement referral, and the enriched alert may be automatically transmitted to certain identified devices. The predictive model is trained using a combination of news alerts and data on clients and transactions, yielding enhanced predictions.

  • Patent number: 12327012
Abstract: Techniques for configuring layouts and display view hierarchies and presenting display views in an operating environment of a process plant according to the layouts and display view hierarchies include providing graphical user controls at a graphical display configuration application for defining a layout. The layouts indicate a manner in which divide one or several display screens into one or several display regions, where each display region presents a display view that includes indications of process control elements. The graphical display configuration application also includes graphical user controls for defining a display view hierarchy of the display views by assigning levels of detail to the display views and designating some of the display views as subviews of other display views. An operator application obtains the defined layout and display view hierarchy and presents the display views at an operator workstation according to the obtained layout and/or display view hierarchy.
