  • Publication number: 20080126063
Abstract: A method for design verification includes running a simulation of a design in a simulation environment, which comprises a stimuli generator for providing inputs to the design during the simulation. Respective measures of quality are computed for at least some of the simulation states in a sequence of states generated by the environment. State data are saved with respect to at least one of the simulation states. The state data include indications both of the respective simulated state and of the respective environment state. Responsively to the respective measures of quality, the saved state data are recalled so as to restart the simulation from the at least one of the simulation states by returning the design to the respective simulated state and returning the simulation environment to the respective environment state.

  • Patent number: 7188061
Abstract: A method for design verification includes receiving a software model of a design of a system under evaluation, and providing a property, which is dependent on a specified variable having a predefined range of values. The property applies to all states of the system for any selected value among the values of the variable within the predefined range. The property is processed so as to generate a checker program for detecting a violation of the property. A simulation of the system is then run using the software model together with the checker program.

  • Patent number: 7146605
Abstract: A method for verifying software source code that includes references to program variables includes processing the source code to derive a set of next-state functions representing control flow of the source code. The references to the program variables in the source code are replaced with non-deterministic choices in the next-state functions. The next-state functions including the non-deterministic choices are restricted to produce a finite-state model of the control flow. The finite-state model is then verified to find an error in the source code.

  • Publication number: 20040096982
Abstract: There are provided methods and apparatus for analyzing data from a plurality of secondary mass spectra. In one embodiment of the invention, sets of features in pairs of the secondary mass spectra are compared, in order to determine which of the pairs of secondary mass spectra meet a predetermined similarity criterion, depending on the sets of features.
