The contacts each include a retaining portion retaining in the insulative block, a contacting portion extending forwardly from the retaining portion and a soldering portion. The contacts include a plurality of differential signal contacts and a plurality of grounding contacts. The soldering portion of differential signal contacts arranged to a plurality of rows and the soldering portion of grounding contacts arranged to a plurality of another rows which parallel to the row of the differential contacts. The row of the differential contacts and the row of the grounding contacts are spaced from each other.

Abstract: An X-ray photographing apparatus and a method of operating the X-ray photographing method are disclosed. The X-ray photographing apparatus includes an X-ray generator configured to generate an X-ray; an X-ray detector configured to detect the X-ray that is transmitted through an object; and a panel that is provided between the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector and configured to contact the object, wherein a distance between a center axis of the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector is maintained to be uniform during a time period, and a radiation angle of the X-ray generated by the X-ray generator with respect to the object changes over the time period.

Abstract: A magnetic core includes an ellipse-shaped central post and two side posts. The ellipse-shaped central post includes a long axis and a short axis. The length of the long axis is greater than the length of the short axis. The two side posts are disposed on two sides of the ellipse-shaped central post and opposite to each other. The two side posts are connected with the ellipse-shaped central post through two connecting portions respectively for defining at least one winding space with the ellipse-shaped central post. By utilizing the ellipse-shaped central post, the volume of the winding space is increased, the diameter of the wire of the winding coil can be increased, the temperature of the winding encapsulation is easy to be lowered, the over-volume issue of the winding encapsulation is avoided, and the safe distance between the bobbin and the winding encapsulation is increased, so that the present disclosure meets the safety regulation.

Abstract: A chip card ejecting mechanism includes a main body, a tray assembled in the main body and configured to receive a chip card, and a door. The door includes a rotating end rotatably mounted on the main body and a push pole protruding from the rotating end. A resisting portion is located on an end of the push pole away from the rotating end. When the door is opened and the rotating end is rotated relative to the main body, the resisting portion resists against the chip card and drives the chip card to move out from the main body.

Abstract: A battery casing and a battery assembly are disclosed. The battery casing has a casing body, a least one first stress-bearing element, and at least one second stress-bearing element. The casing body has two corresponding disposed first walls and a bearing surface. The at least one first stress-bearing element is disposed on the bearing surface. The two ends of the at least one second stress-bearing element connect with the two first walls and are situated above and aligned with the at least one first stress-hearing element to form at least one stress-bearing space for accommodating at least one battery.

The service robot can include one or more sensors that sense its location, the location of objects, or both, and can also include noise reduction elements. The service robot can determine that it is under a “furnishing” and implement a different servicing pattern.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wireless communication system which supports carrier aggregation. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for enabling a user equipment to perform a handover in a wireless communication system which supports carrier aggregation. The method for performing a handover comprises the steps of: transmitting a measurement report on a target cell to a serving cell; receiving, from the serving cell, a message containing a signature route sequence index, cyclic shift parameters, and information related to the component carrier of the target cell; confirming contention-based signatures generated on the basis of the signature route sequence index and cyclic shift parameters; and transmitting one of said contention-based signatures to the target cell for random access, via one or more component carriers, on the basis of said information related to the component carrier. The present invention also relates to an apparatus for the method.

Abstract: A driving control method for a hybrid vehicle has state of charge (SOC) ranges including a high SOC range, an intermediate SOC range and a low SOC range, and a plurality of power distribution strategies corresponding to the respective SOC ranges. The driving control method controls the hybrid vehicle using a power distribution strategy corresponding to an SOC range to which a current SOC of the hybrid vehicle belongs. When a speed of the hybrid vehicle is high or low and is outside a predetermined range, boundary values of the intermediate SOC range and the low SOC range among the SOC ranges are increased.

Abstract: Techniques for providing an error log include establishing, by a hub computing system, a connection with a back-end computing system, the back-end computing system executing a first computer-implemented programming language; receiving, at the hub computing system, a request for an error log from an Open Data Protocol (OData) application that resides on a mobile communications device, the mobile communications device executing a second computer-implemented programming language different than the first computer-implemented programming language, and the error log including error log entries associated with a runtime processing of a data model; registering, on the hub computing system, the error log as an OData service configured to be provided over an OData channel between the hub computing system and the mobile communications device; and providing, by the hub computing system, the error log to the OData application as the OData service over the OData channel.

Abstract: Provided are techniques for interaction detection for generalized linear models. Basic statistics are calculated for a pair of categorical predictor variables and a target variable from a dataset during a single pass over the dataset. It is determined whether there is a significant interaction effect for the pair of categorical predictor variables on the target variable by: calculating a log-likelihood value for a full generalized linear model without estimating model parameters; calculating the model parameters for a reduced generalized linear model with a recursive marginal mean accumulation technique using the basic statistics; calculating a log-likelihood value for the reduced generalized linear model; calculating a likelihood ratio test statistic using the log-likelihood value for the full generalized linear model and the log-likelihood value for the reduced generalized linear model; calculating a p-value of the likelihood ratio test statistic; and comparing the p-value to a significance level.

In an illustrative embodiment, the at least one processor is configured to generate a boundary around the facial image, the boundary having 2-dimensional x and y coordinates relative to boundaries of the display; store the coordinates in memory; in response to at least one of a cropping and moving of the image, recalculate the coordinates to match a new transform setting; and apply an effect to the facial image based on the updated coordinates.
