The first expansion valve and the second expansion valve are controlled so that the refrigerant passing through the first chiller during a cooling mode has a higher pressure, temperature, and rate of discharge than refrigerant passing through the second chiller.

A separator obtained by the method and an electrochemical device including the same are also disclosed. According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a separator having a uniform surface and showing improved adhesion.
