    Abstract: A method of switching a radio resource mode allocated to a mobile station in a wireless access system is disclosed. The method for switching the radio-resource mode allocated to the mobile station in the wireless access system includes, transmitting information of a second radio-resource mode to a base station, thereby requesting a switching from a first radio-resource mode allocated to the mobile station to the second radio-resource mode, and re-requesting the switching of the radio-resource mode using a high-speed feedback channel, if a message approving the switching of the radio-resource mode is not received within a predetermined time. So, a variety of problems caused by inconsistency in operation mode between a mobile station receiving no control messages and the base station can be solved.

    Abstract: There is herein disclosed a multi-band antenna which can adjust respective frequency bands independently. The multi-band antenna comprises a first radiation element having a PIFA structure and a second radiation element having a monopole structure. The adjustment of the capacitance enables an independent adjustment of a first frequency band. The second radiation element includes a stub so as to allow the second frequency band to be independently adjusted, and a first sub-element and a second sub-element which defines a slit therebetween so as to allow the third frequency band to be independently adjusted. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a multi-band antenna which can easily adjust respective frequency bands using multi-bands.

In certain embodiments, the SEPI and STEPI acquired in a singleshot are used to compute a T1 map in realtime, which can be used for realtime monitoring of concentrations of paramagnetic-ion based contrast agent in dynamic contrast enhanced MRI. In certain embodiments, B1 field inhomogeneity correction is provided for the STEPI. In certain embodiments, a gradient-EPI (GEPI) is also acquired after the single RF excitation providing singleshot SEPI, GEPI and STEPI acquisition. In certain embodiments, the phase difference between the SEPI and GEPI is used to compute temperature-dependent chemical shift in a subject in realtime. The temperature-dependent chemical shift can be used to monitor temperature changes in the subject in realtime, for example, during a heat treatment to control the dosage of heat energy.
