    Abstract: An apparatus configured with two subsystems comprising a torus tube, linear flow, and turboplant assemblies that form of cavity for externally supplied and rotating subsonic working fluid. The working fluid rotation is provided by turboplant assemblies with throttle control. The rotating working fluid inside the cavities will conserve angular momentum. As a result of the conservation of angular momentum, poinsot flow fields are seen within the working fluid. A stable, resultant force is generated from the pressure and area forces inside the cavity. The apparatus usage is either with manual operation or as an unmanned, autonomous vehicle.

    Abstract: A device and method for securing objects of almost any sizes and shapes to a wall is disclosed. A hanger comprising a length of cord suitable for the size of object to be hung, a hook shaped block with screw mounting holes, a thru hole, perpendicular and slightly below to the mounting holes for passing the length of cord, and a slot parallel to the thru hole . The thru hole and the slot should be of the same size, slightly larger than diameter of the cord. The block is mounted to a wall by screws or other means such as double sided tape, rail mount system, peg board hook etc. The cord of suitable length for the object is inserted into the thru hole and knotted on both end. With one of the knot resting against one side of the device, the rest of the cord is then looped on the object to be hung and then inserted into the slot, letting the other knot resting against the other side of the device.

Described herein is the development of red blood cell membrane-derived microparticles (RBC MPs), which are depleted of hemoglobin (Hb) and express phosphatidylserine on their surface, for the treatment of lung disease. Administration of RBC MPs to the lung via inhalation promotes the production of immunoregulatory cytokines (such as IL-10), and reduces inflammation and injury in the lung.

The steering system also includes a lower column coupled to the rack. In the steering system, lateral displacement of the rack causes a rotational torque on the lower column. The magneto-rheological coupling selectively communicates a desired portion of the rotational torque on the lower column to the steering column to provide haptic feedback to the steering column.
