    Abstract: A MOSFET device includes a gate formed on a multi-surface area of a semiconductor substrate formed of a first surface which is not etched, a second surface etched in parallel with the first surface, and a surface connecting the first and second surfaces. A source/drain region is formed below each of the first and second surfaces laterally adjacent to a gate prevailed on the matter surface. A first contact is formed of a conductive material formed on an upper surface of the source/drain region, and a second contact is formed of a conductive material formed on the gate, so that it is possible to prevent a punch through phenomenon, increase the integrity of the device, and decrease the contact resistance of a contact formed on the gate.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for sending and receiving information of digital cable broadcasting, which comprises: a headend unit for assigning a packet identifier (PID) from within a range of PIDs to tables carrying data according to inclusion of service information (SI), constructing a transport packet (TP), and sending it using an MPEG communication method; and a receiving unit for receiving the TP from the headend unit, checking the PID of the TP to determine whether the TP includes SI, and determining how to process the TP depending on inclusion states of SI in the TP. The PID discriminates a TP including SI from a TP including other messages in transmission of MPEG-2 TPs from the headend unit to the receiving unit.

    Abstract: A homogeneous polyolefinic blend and a preparation process thereof, are provided wherein the blend comprises polyolefin and a polymer which has a barrier property to organic liquid and vapor permeability. The barrier property is improved through the inclusion of mixed compatibilizing substances comprising an alkylcarboxyl-substituted polymer and reactive low molecular weight compounds. The compatibilizing substances are included by the means of ordinary processing equipment. The polymer with the barrier property having low organic liquid and vapor permeability is distributed as a multitude of thin, wide, disc-like layers in a polyolefin phase. The compatibilizing substances minimize the interfacial energy between the two polymers to adhere them together.
