  • Publication number: 20110124090
Abstract: There are provided genes involved in the biosynthesis of lycopene and having DNA sequences set forth in SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO: 3 and SEQ ID NO: 5 encoding proteins required for the biosynthesis of lycopene, a recombinant vector comprising at least one of the genes, and a mi croorganism transformed with the recombinant vector and having a high content of lycopene. The lycopene is obtained at a yield of 15.3 mg/L and a content of 4.2 mg/gDCW when the recombined E. coli with the crt genes is cultivated, and the lycopene is also obtained with the maximum content of 5.4 mg/gDCW when a microorganism is transformed with the combination of the gene of the present invention and the known genes. Therefore, provided is the lycopene-producing strain having a more increased content of lycopene per dry cell weight than the known lycopene-producing strain with the genes. Accordingly, the genes may be useful to mass-produce lycopene in microorganisms, and also to mass-produce carotenoids.

  • Publication number: 20100227370
Abstract: A method of producing lycopene, with high productivity by means of a recombinant bacterial strain includes preparing the recombinant vector containing genes encoding proteins, which are required for lycopene biosynthesis. The genes involved in lycopene biosynthesis are crtE, crtB and crtI, and at least one of the said three genes (crtE, crtB and crtI) is selected from the group consisting of crtE with the nucleotide Sequence 1, crtB with the nucleotide Sequence 3 and crtI with the nucleotide Sequence 5, of the Sequence List. The said recombinant vector is transformed into Escherichia coli (hereafter E. coli). The E. coli transformant is cultured to recover lycopene from the culture medium.

  • Publication number: 20090169175
Abstract: A method for displaying a record in an initial driving state of a record displaying apparatus is disclosed. The method includes searching execution/non-execution file descriptors of recorded multimedia files, and extracting record files not played back, and outputting a record file alarming message when a record file not played back is extracted. The record displaying apparatus is also disclosed. Execution/non-execution file descriptors of record files are searched upon system initialization of a broadcast receiver. When there is a new record or a record not played back, a record file alarming message is output in a state of being overlaid on a broadcast signal received. Accordingly, the user can access the record file list simultaneously with viewing a broadcast, without using any additional means.

  • Publication number: 20080120922
Abstract: A system for releasably attaching a panel to a wall. The panel is provided with a front surface intended to be visible to an observer once the panel has been installed upon the wall at a rear surface opposite the front surface supporting a plurality of magnets. A corresponding plurality of brackets are attached to the wall and positioned such that when the panel is properly positioned upon the wall, the panel is releasably secured thereto by causing the plurality of magnets to be secured to the plurality of brackets. The panels can abut one another to create a variety of useful surfaces such as pegboard, corkboard, chalkboard, fabric and magnetic bulletin boards. The brackets can be oriented to obscure them from a viewer and can also be reoriented to provide a releasable attachment means for a frame to surround the panels for a more finished, aesthetic appearance.

  • Patent number: 7275775
Abstract: A crash acceleration pulse control block for a vehicle. An auxiliary mounting unit capable of adjusting a crash contact area while serving as a bumper is installed at a front portion of a radiator lower member to obtain reliable initial crash acceleration of the vehicle. This is an important factor for determining the deployment of the airbag, even if the engine specification and the vehicle weight are changed, thereby accurately deploying an airbag according to the sensing operation of an airbag sensor when a vehicle accident occurs.

  • Patent number: 5862831
Abstract: A variable-regeneration directional control valve for construction vehicles is disclosed. The control valve has a pressure control means for controlling the opposite pressure caused by elasticity of a valve spring. The opposite pressure acts on one end of a regeneration switching spool, while a self pressure (hydraulic pressure of pressurized fluid output from a pump) acts on the other end of the regeneration switching spool and thereby moves the spool. In the preferred embodiment, the means is a pressure control piston, which is provided on the end of the valve spring. The pressure control piston receives an outside control signal through an electronic proportional control valve and thereby continuously moves. The electronic proportional control valve outputs pressurized fluid in proportion to a current amount of the outside control signal.

  • Patent number: 5852934
Abstract: A fluid joining device for construction vehicles is disclosed. The device has a bypass line control valve which is mounted to a second center bypass line of the second pump. The bypass line control valve normally opens the second center bypass line but selectively closes the second center bypass line in response to a pilot pressure. A second pilot line control valve is mounted to a second pilot line and controls the second pilot line in response to an outside signal. The second pilot line extends from the first pilot line control valve and selectively drives the first pilot line control valve. The device selectively performs the fluid joining function in accordance with operational conditions of the actuators, thus smoothly operating the actuators and improving operational effect of the construction vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5791226
Abstract: A return fluid regeneration device for construction vehicles is provided. The regeneration device includes an orifice disposed on a return-side internal line of a directional control valve of an actuator. A regeneration line is arranged between the return-side internal line and a return line extending to a return tank and is further selectively connected to the return-side internal line during a weight operation of the actuator. A regeneration branch line is branched from the return-side internal line and is connected to a supply-side internal line of the valve, thus selectively feeding the return fluid from the return-side internal line to the supply-side internal line and thereby regenerating the return fluid. First and second check valve are also provided on the regeneration line and branch line, respectively. The regeneration device regulates the moving speed of the actuator while simultaneously preventing the generation of high pressure in a fluid supply line.

  • Patent number: 5673605
Abstract: A motor cavitation prevention device for hydraulic systems is disclosed. The device exerts no influence upon return fluid of any actuators other than the hydraulic motor thereby preventing undesired pressure loss of the return line. The device has valve means installed in a given position of the return line such that the return fluid of the motor necessarily passes the check valve prior to returning to a return tank but the return fluid of the other actuators does not pass the check valve, and a feedback line for feeding the return fluid of the motor back to the motor in the ease of generation of the pressure above tank in the return line, one end of which feedback line is connected to the return line at the front of the check valve but the other end of which feedback line is connected to the motor.

  • Patent number: 5516371
Abstract: A RE-TM-B magnet is produced by employing a circular tube placed between a upper punch and a lower punch, wherein a magnetic powder is loaded. After the loading, the powder is hot pressed in the tube by the action of the upper punch at a temperature of 400.degree. to 1000.degree. C. to produce an isotropic magnet compact. Subsequently, the compact may be hot worked at a temperature of 400.degree. to 1000.degree. C. to obtain an anisotropic magnet, if desired.
