Lithography friendly layout (LFL) circuit patterns are generated from the schematic layouts. Target layout circuit patterns are generated from the LFL circuit patterns. Optical proximity effect correction (OPC) is performed on the target layout circuit patterns to generate OPC circuit patterns. A mask is fabricated from the OPC circuit patterns, and may be used fabricate a semiconductor device.

    Abstract: Provided is a display panel comprised of a white color organic luminescent element and a color filter for full color implementation, wherein a substrate in which an organic luminescent element is formed and a color filter are assembled and fixed to face each other with an adhesive pattern therebetween, and liquid oil is filled between the color filter and the substrate inside of the adhesive pattern so as to block external moisture or oxygen, so that deterioration of luminous characteristics due to the external moisture or oxygen may be prevented by encapsulating the organic luminescent element and the color filter with the liquid oil, which leads to enhance reliability and stability of the element, and also allows the encapsulation process to be performed with relatively simple steps and low cost.

    Abstract: III-nitride devices are described with recessed gates. In some embodiments, the material around the gates is formed by epitaxially depositing different III-nitride layers on a substrate and etching through at least the top two layers in the gate region. Because adjacent layers in the top three layers of the structure have different compositions, some of the layers act as etch stops to allow for precision etching. In some embodiments, a regrowth mask is used to prevent growth of material in the gate region. A gate electrode is deposited in the recess.

    Abstract: An apparatus for preventing a lid from being undesirably opened. The lid is rotatably coupled to a vehicle tray. The apparatus includes a spring provided under the vehicle tray; and a stopper provided under the vehicle tray. The stopper is coupled at one end to the spring, so that, when a force greater than a predetermined force is applied to the stopper in a direction away from the spring, the stopper overcomes the elastic force of the spring and slides to a position at which it prevents the lid from opening. One-way sliding sawteeth are provided on a lower surface of the vehicle tray and on an upper surface of the stopper. The sawteeth engage with each other when the stopper slides to the position at which it prevents the lid from opening, such that the stopper is prevented from returning to its original position.

The method includes preparing a model group including optical proximity correction (OPC) models and generating a preliminary mask layout using an integrated circuit (IC) layout. A contour image may be produced from the preliminary mask layout through a simulation using an optical model. Subsequently, the preliminary mask layout may be compared with the contour image and the comparison result may be analyzed to produce analysis data for providing criteria used in selecting an OPC model. An OPC model suitable for the preliminary mask layout may be selected from the model group based on the analysis data. An OPC process may be performed on the preliminary mask layout using the selected OPC model to generate a mask layout.

    Abstract: High breakdown enhancement mode gallium nitride (GaN) based high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) with integrated slant field plates. These HEMTs have an epilayer structure comprised of AlGaN/GaN buffer. Before the formation of the gate electrode, a passivation layer is deposited, and then the opening for the gate is patterned. The passivation layer below the gate is etched using an etch condition that creates a slanted sidewalls. Then, the charge below the channel is removed either by Fluorine-based plasma treatment and/or by a recess etch. The gate metal is deposited with an angled rotation to form a gate structure with an inherent field plate with rounded edges.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods to detect and reduce any high driveline torsional levels, such as due to the cylinder deactivation in variable displacement system engines or aggressive lock-up strategies for fuel efficiency, in automobile transmissions. The present disclosure utilizes a controller in an automobile to operate a computationally thrifty method for quickly detecting noise and vibration disturbances in the transmission. This quick detection enables fuel economic calibrations that aggressively reduce the disturbances by controlling slip in a launch device of the transmission. As problem disturbances arise, they are detected before occupants notice objectionable behavior. Once detected, the disturbances are reduced, such as by increasing launch device slip, which effectively intercepts the objectionable disturbances before they are transferred through the entire drivetrain.
