Abstract: Multi-layer cushion supports are described which may generally comprise a first support having a first contact surface for contacting a portion of a body and a second surface opposite to the first surface, the first support defining a central chamber and a peripheral chamber surrounding the central chamber, wherein the first support is filled with a first gas or liquid and a second support attached to the first support along the first contact surface. The second support may be filled with a second gas or liquid which is relatively more viscous than the first gas or liquid. In particular, the first support may be filled with a volume of air and the second support may be filled with oil which is less than the volume of air.

Abstract: A system for enterprise distribution of electronic and paper documents for multiple insurance products is disclosed. The system including a memory device to store policy information for multiple insurance products associated with each of a plurality of clients. The memory device stores document delivery settings, including contact information and notification/alert preferences. The system includes a processor to generate document delivery questions relating to the preferred medium for notification and alert documents. The system includes a receiver to receive responses to the document delivery questions. The processor generates consent questions and updates the document delivery settings based on the response to the document delivery questions and the consent questions. The system may also include a transmitter to transmit a message to the clients notifying them of the change in the document delivery settings and to transmit a message notifying a source system of the change in document delivery settings.

Abstract: A conforming support comprising a central portion, a first side portion attached to the central portion, and a second side portion attached to the central portion opposite to the first side portion each having chambers in fluid communication with one another such that a pressure applied upon the central chamber reconfigures the support assembly from a flattened configuration to an angled configuration in which fluid or gas within the central portion is urged into the first and/or second portions such that the side portions pivot to a predetermined height and angle relative to the central portion and form a conforming channel sized to support a region of a patient body.

Abstract: A technique to at least partial transfer an active network communication session associated with a server and an authenticated user communicating through a first device. The at least partial transfer includes the following actions (not necessarily in the following order): (i) recording the network communication session on an inline network device; (ii) associating the network communication session with the second device on the inline network device; and (iii) sending session continuation information from the inline network device to at least the second device and/or the server. The first device is in data communication with the inline network device during at least a portion of the recording step. The session continuation information sent at the sending step includes information enabling the user to continue the active network communication session through the second device.

In one embodiment, the method includes receiving an audit event for a restricted resource and a first user id associated with the audit event. The method further includes determining based at least in part on the audit event, a historical reference, the historical reference including at least one audit event associated with at least one user id. The method further includes determining access activity associated with the first user id. The method further includes determining based at least in part on the historical reference and the access activity, at least one recommended role for the first user id.

Abstract: Adjustable mattress assemblies are described in which a mattress incorporates regions where additional pressure reduction is adjustable via pliable fluid bladders filled with a gas or fluid. Such areas of the mattress where additional pressure reduction is desired may include regions of the mattress which support areas of the body which may be particularly susceptible to pressure ulcers such as the heels, sacral regions, etc.

The tracking server receives a tracking device request from a mobile device. The tracking device request includes information identifying a tracking device and configuration instructions for configuring the tracking device. The tracking server identifies a community mobile device from the one or more community mobile devices within a proximity of the tracking device. The tracking server sends the tracking device request to the identified community mobile device. The identified community mobile device is configured to forward the tracking device request to the tracking device and the tracking device is configured to re-configure the tracking device based on the configuration instructions included in the tracking device request.

Abstract: An Intelligent Electronic Device (IED) includes a plurality of hardware modules including a pair of analog input modules (AIM) modules, a Power Supply Module (PSM), and a Binary Input/Output (BIO) module. Each module is configured for mounting in a first IED housing that has a first form factor. The PSM and BIO module are constructed and arranged to directly connect with electrical connections of the first housing. A second IED housing is provided that has a second form factor that is different from the first form factor. The AIM modules are mounted to a bottom panel of the second housing. The PSM and the BIO module are mounted in the second housing. Wiring electrically connects the AIM modules to connections on the second housing. Adaptor structure electrically connects the PSM and the BIO module with associated connections of the second housing.

A second IED housing is provided having a second form factor that is different from the first form factor. The hardware modules are mounted in the second housing. Adaptor structure is employed to electrically connect the hardware modules with connections of the second housing. The second housing is mounted into an existing wiring and second form factor environment.

Abstract: Disclosed are novel bioactive peptides derived as antagonists to a fire ant receptor for a pheromone biosynthesis-activating neuropeptide/pyrokinin (PBAN/pyrokinin) gene derived neuropeptide ligand. Also disclosed are methods of controlling fire ants with the bioactive peptides disclosed herein. Methodological approaches to screening peptide libraries for the presence of PBAN/pyrokinin ligands are also provided herein.
