  • Publication number: 20250106138
Abstract: In one implementation, a “probe controller orchestrator” provides access to cross-domain probing via the probe controller orchestrator for a plurality of probe controllers across a plurality of different network domains with a respective different probing protocol and associated probing capability. The probe controller orchestrator, in particular, obtains domain-specific probe test results from each of the plurality of probe controllers, and correlates the domain-specific probe test results into cross-domain data formatted in a common data format understandable by each of the plurality of probe controllers. As such, the probe controller orchestrator may then respond to requests received from the plurality of probe controllers with the cross-domain data in order to cause respective domain-specific processing.

  • Publication number: 20250097676
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for inter-network messaging among private and public 5G networks. For instance, a first server on a public 5G mobile network can receive a first message directed to a first wireless device associated with a first network identity. The first server can determine, based on the first network identity, that the first wireless device is associated with a second network identity, wherein the second network identity is used to identify the first wireless device on a private 5G mobile network. The first server can send a copy of the first message to a second server on the private 5G mobile network for transmission to the first wireless device through the private 5G mobile network based on the second network identity.

  • Publication number: 20250088448
Abstract: In one implementation, a device determines a plurality of routes from one or more sources in a localized network domain to external addresses via a plurality of border leaf nodes of the localized network domain. The device selects, based on a specific performance test from a particular source of the one or more sources to a particular endpoint with a corresponding external address, a particular border leaf node of the plurality of border leaf nodes that is along a utilized route from the particular source to the particular endpoint based on the corresponding external address and the plurality of routes. The device causes the specific performance test to be executed from a particular testing agent installed on the particular border leaf node to the particular endpoint.

  • Publication number: 20250080454
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a comprehensive Route Selection Policy (URSP) based on Wi-Fi multi-link operation. In one aspect, a method includes identifying a user device connected to an enterprise network that provides network connectivity to user devices over multiple radio access technologies; receiving network capability information indicating that the user device is capable of a multi-link operation over a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi network being one of the multiple radio access technologies; determining a URSP for the user device, wherein the URSP is a singular route selection policy for the user device to send and receive data over the multiple radio access technologies and defines, in part, a per-application traffic routing rule for routing a portion of traffic for an application used on the user device, over one of multiple links available on the Wi-Fi network; and transmitting the URSP to the user device.

  • Patent number: 12224928
Abstract: According to one or more implementations of the disclosure, a device initiates probing of a path in a network during which one or more probe packets are sent along the path. A hop along the path modifies the one or more probe packets to include energy source information regarding one or more energy sources available to that hop. The device receives results of the probing of the path that include the energy source information. The device generates, based on the results of the probing, a visual representation of the path and those one or energy sources available to different hops along the path. The device provides the visual representation of the path to a user interface for display.

  • Publication number: 20250016084
Abstract: In one embodiment, a device identifies a port associated with a backend probing agent for a cloud-hosted application. The device performs external probing of a path to the cloud-hosted application by sending a probe along the path to the port, to generate external probing results. The device triggers the backend probing agent to generate backend probing results by performing backend probing of a backend service used by the cloud-hosted application. The device causes formation of unified probing results that correlate the external probing results and the backend probing results.

  • Patent number: 12192090
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for pairing disaggregated network elements. In one example, a pairing manager obtains an indication to prioritize high availability when pairing disaggregated network elements. The disaggregated network elements include first disaggregated network elements and second disaggregated network elements. The pairing manager obtains, from one or more of the disaggregated network elements, topology information of the disaggregated network elements. Based on the topology information and the indication to prioritize high availability, the pairing manager pairs topologically-adjacent ones of the first disaggregated network elements with different ones of the second disaggregated network elements.

  • Publication number: 20250007810
Abstract: According to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a device identifies a configuration change in a network based on path probing data obtained by a path probing service from the network. The device causes, based on the configuration change, the path probing service to obtain updated path probing data from the network by sending synthetic probes along a path in the network using a plurality of different protocols. The device selects, based on the updated path probing data, a particular protocol from among the plurality of different protocols to use to probe the path. The device configures the path probing service to probe the path using the particular protocol.

  • Patent number: 12185407
Abstract: Adaptive transition between an inactive state and an idle state may be provided. An end node device may be configured with an end node device upper threshold. Next, it may be determined that that client devices are inactive preferred. Then the client devices determined to be inactive preferred may be assigned to a Radio Resource Control (RRC) inactive state and to the end node device. One or more of the client devices previously assigned to the RRC inactive state may be assigned to an RRC idle state and to an intermediate device until a number of the client devices assigned to the end node device is less than or equal to the end node device upper threshold.

  • Publication number: 20240430695
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a process of dynamically assigning operational parameters for access points within a CBRS (Citizen Broadband Radio Service) network. In particular, the disclosed technology monitors for and detects interference between nearby access points and user equipment devices that may belong to the same enterprise or to different enterprises. Machine learning processes are used to revise the operational parameters that were initially assigned by the Spectrum Access System (SAS). These processes are also used to suggest an updated set of operational parameters to the SAS for the access points. The dynamic assignment reduces interference experienced by the access point with respect to nearby other access points and/or nearby other user equipment. The dynamic assignment aims to improve a quality of communication between the access point and its associated user equipment.

  • Publication number: 20240422622
Abstract: Provided herein are techniques to facilitate conflict management in a shared Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) architecture. In one instance, a method can be performed by a conflict manager of a near-real-time RAN intelligent controller of a shared RAN including radio unit (RU) nodes provided by a host operator. The method can include obtaining each of a requested radio unit (RU) configuration from each of a distributed unit (DU) node operated by each of a tenant operator and determining whether there are any conflicts among RU configuration parameters for each requested RU configuration. In one instance, upon determining one or more conflicts among the RU configuration parameters for each requested RU configuration, the method may include providing a response to each DU node indicating that each DU node is allowed to configure the plurality of RU nodes using each requested RU configuration in accordance with a modification.
