Abstract: It has been discovered that instances of an item to be sold in online auctions may be linked to an already created online auction listing for the item. The associating propagates the online auction listing to these other item instances. The propagating allows junior bidders (i.e., losing bidders) to continue pursuing purchase of the associated item instances and allows the junior sellers of the associated item instances to leverage the information of the online auction listing.

Abstract: Systems, methods and media for processing project related communications between users of computers and to provide listening functionality for the users. In one embodiment, a system allows a third party project member to optionally listen in on an electronic conversation between two or more project members. The system further allows the third party project member to conduct a keyword search of messages relating to the project.

Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system are provided for displaying an image device subject command on an imaging device. The imaging device receives an image device subject command from a user. The image device subject command instructs an action to be performed by a subject being recorded by the imaging device. The imaging device identifies a visual representation that correlates to the image device subject command. The imaging device displays the visual representation of the subject command on a display associated with the imaging device.

At least one search criteria rule is automatically generated from the at least one similarity in response to detecting the GUI event.

Abstract: A method, system or computer usable program product for a data processing system to anticipate parking space availability including receiving from the first user a request for a parking space for a first vehicle, obtaining location tracking data of a set of users, each of the set of users associated with one of a set of vehicles, each vehicle located at one of a set of parking spaces, predicting a set of departure times based on the location tracking data for a subset of the set of users away from and associated with vehicles located in parking spaces, determining a subset of departure times that are within an acceptable period of time, and sending to the first user a subset of parking spaces with vehicles associated with users having the subset of departure times.

Abstract: A method for saving and restoring collaborative applications to a selected earlier time, may include saving, by a processing device, content for each collaborative application of a plurality of collaborative applications as a user uses each of the collaborative applications. The method may additionally include restoring each collaborative application to a selected earlier time in response to the selected earlier time being selected by the user. The method may further include presenting the content of each collaborative application at the selected earlier time to the user in response to each collaborative application being restored to the selected earlier time, wherein each collaborative application is presented in an original context from the selected earlier time.

Abstract: A system, computer program and method for automating form transcription. Data and meta data may be retrieved from a selected input form, e.g., W2 form. Data may refer to information, e.g., gross income, contained in a field in the input form. Meta data may refer to information, e.g., identifying fields in the input form, that describes or characterizes the data. The retrieved data and meta data may be correlated and stored in a database. Correlating may refer to identifying particular information in particular fields in the input form. The stored correlated data and meta for a selected input form may be mapped to a selected target form, e.g., 1040 form. Mapping may include mapping the data and meta data associated with particular fields in the input form to corresponding fields in the target form.

Abstract: An approach is provided in which a data collection system loads a user interface form on a display screen. The user interface form includes an entry field and an extraction formula with a corresponding element type that adheres to an industry-specific schema. The data collection system receives a data packet from a broadcast device, which includes an element value and an element type identifier adhering to the same industry-specific schema. In turn, the data collection system determines whether the element type identifier matches the element type and, if so, the data collection system populates the entry field on the display screen with the element value.

Abstract: Illustrative embodiments disclose sending content from a first application at a first location to a second application at a second remote location. In response to a user input indicating a selection of content for transfer to the second application, the selection of the content is copied to form copied content. The copied content is then automatically sent to the second application at the remote second location without requiring additional user manipulation of the copy content. Additionally, the destination may be another user. In this case, the second application is employed to automatically transfer the copied content to that second user.

Abstract: Some example embodiments include a method that includes generating an indication of a first item being auctioned in an online auction system. Responsive to locating an online auction in the online auction system for a second item having one or more attributes that exceed a matching threshold with the first item, the method includes associating the first item with the located online auction using the generated indication of the first item. Also, after the online auction for the second item ends and in response to determining a bid of a junior bidder and data about the junior bidder satisfy a set of one or more conditions for sale of the first item, the method includes notifying the junior bidder in the online auction of the first item in the online auction system, wherein the junior bidder is junior to a winning bidder in the online auction for the second item.

Abstract: A method by which a user may move windows from one location to another on a screen of a portable computing device is provided. In accordance with the method, when the device is in window manipulation mode, the user needs only tilt the device toward a destination location and the windows are moved toward that location. Tilt detectors in the device sense an angle of tilt and provide the tilt angle as feedback to a processor. The processor, under proper software instructions, moves the windows toward the destination location on the screen based on the tilt angle. The greater the tilt angle, the faster the windows are moved toward the destination location.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus and method for storing a language preference and providing the stored language preference automatically without any intervention of a user. The user may have an option to set a desired language preference on the calling apparatus such as a telephone device. A call center may send a query requesting language preference information of the user to the calling apparatus when the user makes a call connection to the call center. The desired language preference saved on the calling apparatus may be sent directly from the calling apparatus to the call center. In this manner, the user may not have to repeat a language selection process for every call made to the call center.

Abstract: Amounts of time that search result content is displayed for viewing can be collected and used for relevancy ranking. Selection of a first of a plurality of search results is detected. The plurality of search results is received in response to submission of a set of one or more search terms. An amount of time content of the first search result is displayed for viewing is determined. The content is loaded in response to the selection of the first search result. An indication of the amount of time is supplied as input for ranking relevancy of the first search result with respect to the set of one or more search terms.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide site browsing history information that pertains to a specified network site user. One embodiment, directed to a method, comprises the step of acquiring data for a database, wherein the acquired data identifies multiple sites that are accessed by the user in an order, during a specified period of time. The method further comprises accessing at least a portion of the data from the database. From the accessed data, a pictorial representation of a plurality of the websites accessed during the specified time period is generated. The pictorial representation further illustrates the order in which at least some of the websites of the plurality were accessed.
