    Abstract: This invention relates to enable a person to walk smoothly even if a length of a remained thigh of the lost leg is short or even if the leg is cut at the hip joint and has no thigh. The hucklebone supporting type artificial leg comprising the crotch support (1), the shaft part (21) arranged vertically at the lower surface of the crotch support (1) and having substantially the same length as that of the lower leg and a foot (22) fixed to the lower end of the shaft part (21), wherein the crotch support (1) is formed into a substantial L-shape as seen in its top plan view, one front end (2) is arranged at a front part so as to be applied to a substantial front half part of the crotch part when installed and at the same time, the other side end part (3) is arranged at the rear surface of the lost lower leg and applied to both the hucklebone and the hip part corresponding to the lost leg when installed.

    Abstract: In material for ceramic ball that has a spherical portion of approximate sphere at both ends thereof and a belt-like portion at a center thereof over an entire circumferential direction, a difference between a diagonal diameter of the belt-like portion and a polar diameter of the spherical portion is 100 &mgr;m or less. A height of the belt-like portion from the spherical portion is preferable to be 1 mm or less. A width of the belt-like portion is preferable to be 5 mm or less. The material for ceramic ball can be used for material for bearing balls for instance. When applying in such a usage, the material for ceramic ball essentially consists of silicon nitride, Vickers hardness thereof being preferable to be 1400 or more. In the material for ceramic ball of the present invention, a difference between a diagonal diameter of a belt-like portion and a polar diameter of a spherical portion is set at 100 &mgr;m or less.

Deficiency due to static electricity of electronic equipment is cancelled due to specific resistance that a zirconium oxide sintered body has.

    Abstract: A group-delay-characteristics adjusting method allows group-delay characteristics of piezoelectric resonators to be easily adjusted without affecting the electrical characteristics thereof. Piezoelectric resonators are arranged on an insulating substrate and are connected in a ladder arrangement, thereby defining a piezoelectric filter. Silicon sheets, each of which has a Young modulus that is about 100 MPa or smaller, are prepared to adjust the group-delay characteristics of the piezoelectric resonators. Then, characteristics of the piezoelectric resonators are measured. The silicon sheets having a size that is appropriate to achieve the required group-delay characteristics are selected, and adhered onto the individual piezoelectric resonators.
