Abstract: A system and method are provided for an application server configuration tool. In an embodiment the configuration tool includes a data layer to store a configuration for an application server or a cluster of application servers. The data layer may include a database and a file system. The configuration tool may also include a logic layer having one or more logical tasks to implement the functions of the configuration tool. The configuration tool may also include a front-end layer which may have a graphical user interface; a markup language generator, and/or a console.

Abstract: Improved integrated circuits, memory devices, circuitry, and data methods are described that facilitate the adjustment and reconstruction of signal timing of devices by providing for an interface having inputs and/or outputs that are adjustably delayed. This allows embodiments of the present invention to sense the signal delay and utilize adjustable input or output delays to correct the signal timing relationships such that correctly timed communication signals are received by the internal circuitry of the device. In one embodiment of the present invention, a register is utilized to adjust the timing delay of individual input and/or output signals for the device. This increases the robustness of the device and its resistance to communication or data corruption, allowing larger ranges of environmental conditions and input capacitances of systems or communication busses to be tolerated.

Abstract: IC fabrication employs the deposition of aluminum as a metallization layer. Frequently, the aluminum is doped with copper in small amounts to improve electric properties. Low temperature deposition of these layers is preferred to ensure the proper microstructure and surface roughness. Low temperature deposition (below about 300° C.) results in the formation of copper precipitates which can be difficult to remove. Annealing the layer formed, either prior to, or after formation of capping layers and additional layers thereon, drives the copper precipitate back into solution, permitting small dimension fabrication.

Abstract: Reduction gearing using a nonsplit or one-piece case where bearing housings are formed in the slots of the case opposite one another to receive at least intermediate pinion stems with ends journaled in bearings in the respective bearing housings. The bearing housings are formed with exterior slots of a width at least equal to the diameters of reduced necks at the ends of the pinion stems or sufficient to clear the inner races of the bearings, when such races are provided, so that the reduced diameter portions or inner races can be laterally inserted into the bearing housings and the outer races then positioned axially therein to retain the journals. The outer races have two shoulders for the respective bearing rollers. The construction allows preassembly externally of the case of the pinion stems and mounting of the pinion stems within the case via the bearing assemblies.
