  • Patent number: 5166759
Abstract: The present invention provides a semiconductor-type laminated ceramic capacitor with a grain boundary-insulated structure made of Sr.sub.(1-x) Ba.sub.x TiO.sub.3 as a main component, comprising the functions of a conventional capacitor which absorbs low voltage noises and high frequency noises, and a varistor when high voltage noises and electrostatic charges invade, wherein simultaneous sintering of the materials of ceramic capacitor together with the materials of inner electrodes was made possible in the manufacturing process. Besides a material to be made semiconductive is added to the main component of Sr.sub.(1-x) Ba.sub.x TiO.sub.3 with excess Ti, the materials of Mn-Si, which are converted to MnO.sub.2 and SiO.sub.2 in the sintering process, are also added to the main component.

  • Patent number: 5166859
Abstract: A laminated semiconductor ceramic capacitor with a grain boundary-insulated structure comprises a semiconductor ceramic block with a grain boundary-insulated structure, a plurality of Ni inner electrodes and outer electrodes, wherein the Ni inner electrodes are obtained from a paste containing a powder prepared by solubilizing at least one compound containing an atom selected from the group consisting of Li, Na and K into Ni or an Ni containing compound; the Ni inner electrodes are placed in a substantially parallel manner within the ceramic block to reach to the corresponding opposite edges of the ceramic block alternatively one by one; and the outer electrodes are electrically connected to the corresponding edges of the inner electrodes, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5001794
Abstract: A device for securing detachably a filtering sheet to an air bed, which includes a bed body, having an upper peripheral edge defining an opening, and a number of fine solid particles contained in the bed body, has a flange secured to the upper peripheral edge of the bed body, a hook tape secured to an upper surface of the flange, a loop tape secured to a lower surface of a periphery of the filtering sheet, and a cover resiliently clamped on the flange. The filtering sheet can be firmly secured in an airtight manner to the flange in an easily removable manner by engagement between the hook tape and the loop tape.

  • Patent number: 4922904
Abstract: An apparatus for connecting a thread wound on a bobbin to a surgical needle including feeding rollers for unwinding the thread from the bobbin, a tube-like chuck for selectively fix the thread thereto, a guide for guiding the front end of the thread, a feeding device for supporting the needle such that a hole formed in a rear end face of the needle is faced to the front end of the thread, and a clamping device having pushing rods for pressing the rear end of the needle to clamp the thread in the hole. By moving the needle to the guide, the front end of the thread is inserted into the hole of the needle, and then the clamping device is driven to press the rear end of the needle so that the thread is clamped in the hole. Then, the thread is unwound from the bobbin by a desired length by moving the feeding device away from the guide, and finally the thread is cut along an inclined line.

  • Patent number: 4570968
Abstract: An improved vehicle suspension system of the double wishbone type including an A-type suspension lower arm which has different strength at different portions thereof suitable for sharing the loads imposed thereon so as to reduce the overall weight thereof. The suspension lower arm, which has a ball-joint mounting portion, is pivotally attached at its front and rear mounting portions to the body of a vehicle for vertical swinging movement and is comprised of a first arm member and a second arm member respectively formed by bending a plate material. The first arm member extends rearwardly from the front mounting portion and the second arm member extends forwardly from the rear mounting portion so that they are superimposed on and secured as by welding to each other at a location near the ball-joint mounting portion. The first and second arm members each have an upper wall and a pair of opposite side walls.
