  • Publication number: 20190362764
Abstract: A memory device performs DLL (delay locked loop) calibration in accordance with a DLL calibration mode configured for the memory device. A host controller can configure the calibration mode based on operating conditions for the memory device. The memory device includes an input/output (I/O) interface circuit and a delay locked loop (DLL) circuit coupled to control I/O timing of the I/O interface. A control circuit of the memory device selectively enables and disables DLL calibration in accordance with the DLL calibration mode. When selectively enabled, the DLL calibration is to operate at a time interval identified by the DLL calibration mode, and when selectively disabled, the DLL calibration is to cease or refrain from DLL calibration operations.

  • Patent number: 10476488
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for jitter cancellation with automatic performance adjustment are described. Within a clock distribution system in an electronic device (e.g., a memory device), a jitter cancellation system may be configured to introduce delay between an input clock signal and output clock signal that is directly proportional to the supply voltage for the clock distribution system. In response to supply noise, the delay introduced by the jitter cancellation system may vary directly with respect to the supply voltage fluctuations and thus may offset fluctuations in the delay introduced by other components of the clock distribution system, which may vary inversely with respect to the supply voltage fluctuations. A control component within the jitter cancellation system may execute an algorithm to adjust or regulate the delay introduced by the jitter cancellation system, including its responsiveness to fluctuations in the supply voltage.

  • Publication number: 20190340255
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure present devices, methods, and computer readable medium for enabling a user to quickly and easily filter and search a digital asset collection. The disclosed techniques allow for rapid recall of desired digital assets, linking assets into logical collections, and an overall improved user experience. The zero keyword/contextual keyword feature presents multimedia content icons and searchable keywords to allow a user to search the digital asset collection simply by tapping on one of these keywords. The top auto completion feature auto-completes suggestions in the search field based on various heuristics to ensure the method produces diverse and relevant results. The next keyword suggestion feature predicts a next search term based on learned properties about the digital asset collection. The semantical synonym and syntax synonym features expand an indexed vocabulary to allow broader searching.

  • Publication number: 20190333360
Abstract: A remote temperature monitoring system includes a first unit operatively connected to one or more temperature sensors for sensing the temperature of one or more materials or food items being cooked or heated. The first unit transmits the sensed temperature to a second unit that is located remotely from the first unit during heating. The second unit is programmable with the desired temperature and/or heating parameters of the item. By monitoring the temperature status of the item over time, the system determines when the food has reached the desired temperature or degree of cooking, and notifies the user.

  • Publication number: 20190330873
Abstract: A method of retrofitting a pre-Northridge type steel beam-to-column connection, includes welding the web of the beam to a flange of the column and slotting the beam web in the region of the connection and near the beam flanges. Stress relief holes are made into the web of the beam and slots are cut into the web of the beam. A top backup bar is welded to the flange of the column and a bottom backup bar is removed from the flange weld to the column. The method includes back gouging the flange of the column at a position of the removed backup bar and welding a bottom flange of the beam to the flange of the column.

  • Patent number: 10428939
Abstract: A variable speed transmission having a plurality of tilting balls and opposing input and output discs is illustrated and described that provides an infinite number of speed combinations over its transmission ratio range. The use of a planetary gear set allows minimum speeds to be in reverse and the unique geometry of the transmission allows all of the power paths to be coaxial, thereby reducing overall size and complexity of the transmission in comparison to transmissions achieving similar transmission ratio ranges.

  • Publication number: 20190294535
Abstract: An automated testing framework to coordinate functions among code management, build management, automated test, resource reservation, artifact repositories and team communication subsystems. In one embodiment specific to software development, software developers check new code into a code management subsystem, a development project tracking system, or other tools that automatically generate a build. Test suites are then automatically selected and executed based on a scope of the project or code that was built. This scope can include such attributes as what portion of the software was built, the purpose (objective) of the build, the maturity of developing that build, and so forth. In one implementation, label directives may be used to associate build scope to test suites. During or after the automated tests, other actions may then be automatically triggered, to store test results, inform the development team, stored data integrated with test definition and results, or update an artifact respository.

Abstract: Devices and related methods to engage tissue layers to access the space between the layers are provided. The access devices include engagement arms that can be deployed and retracted to easily engage the top tissue layer and allow it to be separated from the underlying layer. The engagement arms are coupled to an actuation rod that is in turn coupled to a switch or lever that allows a user to control the actuation from outside the patient. The engagement arms and coupling to the actuation rod are unique and compact to ensure the entire mechanism fits in a small diameter shaft.
