  • Publication number: 20220018178
Abstract: Certain example embodiments relate to an insulating glass (IG) unit. A spacer system is interposed between first and second substrates. The spacer system helps to maintain the first and second substrates in substantially parallel spaced apart relation to one another, and to define a cavity between the first and second substrates. A desiccant material is located in a body of the spacer system, with the desiccant material comprising a desiccant matrix and a molecular sieve replacement material formed for adsorption at a relative humidity of 10-20%. The molecular sieve replacement material may be a salt or other material (such as, for example, MgCl2, CaCl2, CaO, MgSO4, and/or the like). The cavity may be primarily filled with an inert gas (such as Ar, Kr, Xe, or the like) or a reactive gas (such as CO2). An electrostatically-driven dynamic shade may be provided in the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20210400019
Abstract: The subject disclosure provides systems and methods for application-specific network data filtering. Application-specific network data filtering may be performed by a sandboxed process prior to providing the network data to an application to which the network data is directed. Any malicious or otherwise potentially harmful data that is included in the network data may be removed by the application-specific network data filter or may be allowed to corrupt the application specific network data filtering operations within the sandbox, thereby preventing the malicious or harmful data from affecting the application or other portions of an electronic device. In one or more implementations, a first process such as an application-specific network data filtering process may request allocation of memory for the first process from second process, such as an application, that is separate from a memory manager of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11185838
Abstract: There is disclosed an electrode array architecture employing continuous and discontinuous circumferential electrodes. There is further disclosed a process for the neutralization of acid generated at anode(s) by base generated at cathode(s) circumferentially located to each other so as to confine a region of pH change. The cathodes can be displayed as concentric rings (continuous) or as counter electrodes in a cross pattern (discontinuous). In this way reagents, such as acid, generated in a center electrode are countered (neutralized) by reagents, such as base, generated at the corners or at the outer ring.

  • Publication number: 20210365905
Abstract: In an embodiment, a computing system receives a first electronic remittance corresponding to a first electronic payment to a payee. The system determines that the first remittance is in a first, unrecognized format, and responsively presents, to the payee, a user interface for matching electronic remittances to electronic payments. The system receives, via the user interface, field-mapping information between the first format and a second, recognized format. The system receives a second electronic remittance corresponding to a second electronic payment directed to the payee, determines that the second remittance is in the first format, and responsively uses the field-mapping information to convert the second remittance to the second format. The system matches the converted remittance to the second payment, and provides, to the payee, a payment file that indicates a match between the second remittance and the second payment.

  • Publication number: 20210351494
Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry that includes first, second, and third antennas used to determine the position and orientation of the electronic device relative to external equipment. The antennas may include patch elements on respective substrates mounted to a flexible printed circuit. Each substrate may include fences of conductive vias that are coupled to ground and that laterally surround the corresponding patch element. Control circuitry may identify phase differences between the first and second antennas and between the second and third antennas and may identify an angle of arrival of received ultra-wideband signals using the phase differences. The control circuitry may compare the phase differences to a set of predetermined surfaces of phase differences to identify environmental loading conditions for the antenna. The control circuitry may correct the angle of arrival using offsets identified based on the environmental loading conditions.

  • Patent number: 11126659
Abstract: A system for providing a graph protocol for forming a decentralized and distributed graph database is disclosed. The system involves receiving, from a device, a bid request to generate a graph on a graph protocol network via the graph protocol. A plurality of masternodes in the system may transmit ask requests associated with providing storage and computation power to service the bid request. If the system determines that the requirements of the bid request match or correlate with the requirements of the ask request, the system may select any masternodes having matching or correlating ask requests to service the ask request. The system may then arrange the masternodes into a unique artificially-intelligent router of the graph protocol network. The system may then proceed to generate the graph on the graph protocol network by utilizing the masternodes of the router and may process any queries associated with the generated graph.

  • Patent number: 11107586
Abstract: A system and method to identify, convey, and reduce the risk of hip dislocations following hip replacement surgery. Preoperative images are used to identify the pelvic tilt of a patient while the patient is in a sitting position, a standing position, and a supine position. Based on the pelvic tilt and pelvic mobility depicted in the preoperative images, the system can identify a quantitative and/or qualitative risk of hip dislocation when the patient is seated, standing, and lying. During surgery, an intraoperative image can confirm the acetabular cup orientation once implanted and the system can determine the risk of hip dislocation when patient is in the supine position. The system can also extrapolate the dislocation risk when the patient is seated and standing based on acetabular cup position and orientation depicted in the intraoperative image.
