  • Publication number: 20210138188
Abstract: A catheter assembly includes a catheter at least partially positioned within a sleeve. The catheter has a coating, which produces a low-friction surface on the catheter when treated with an activating fluid. A protective tip is connected to the sleeve and has proximal and distal internal seals, with the proximal seal at the proximal end of the tip or between proximal and distal ends of the protective tip. A cap of the assembly has a projection, which is removably received within the protective tip for sealing engagement with the proximal and distal seals to define a fluid reservoir within the protective tip. An activating fluid is contained within the fluid reservoir. The projection may be partially hollow to receive a portion of the catheter. The sleeve may be relatively narrow or at least have a narrowed portion for better distribution of activating fluid to the surface of the catheter.

  • Patent number: 10798819
Abstract: Flexible fingers for flexible printed circuits improve the crack resistance of prior art designs. The crack resistance can be improved by encapsulating the trace inside additional layers such that the outer two layers include only the lands of the through-hole, and all other copper is etched away. The crack resistance can also be improved with strategically adding copper on layers other than the trace layer including attaching is to the land of the through-hole as a stub. These two designs can be combined to include a stub trace into a four-layered design.

  • Publication number: 20200137465
Abstract: A telecommunications patch panel system (10) including a plurality of multiport telecommunications bezel assemblies (200) installed within a panel frame (100) is presented. The bezel assemblies (200) are formed from cooperating first and second frame parts (210, 240) to define a plurality of jack receptacle openings (202). In one example, the plurality of jack receptacles (202) are arranged in a two-row array. The first and second frame parts (210, 240) also retain a central bonding strip (290) having a plurality of grounding contact elements (292, 293). The grounding contact elements (292, 293) ground the jack modules (120) that are installed within the bezel assembly jack receptacle openings (202). Where a two-row array of jack receptacle openings (202) is provided, the central bonding strip (290) can be configured to extend between the rows. The central bonding strip (290) can provide grounding for multiple bezel assemblies (200).

  • Publication number: 20200082257
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for active, imitation learning, includes: providing training data comprising an expert trajectory to a processor; querying the expert trajectory during an iterative, active learning process; generating a decision policy based at least in part on the expert trajectory and a result of querying the expert trajectory; attempting to distinguish the decision policy from the expert trajectory; in response to distinguishing the decision policy from the expert trajectory, outputting a policy update and generating a new decision policy based at least in part on the policy update; and in response to not distinguishing the decision policy from the expert trajectory, outputting the decision policy. Importantly, the expert trajectory is queried for only a subset of iterations of the iterative, active learning process, wherein the most uncertain state/action pair(s) from the expert trajectory are determined using one or more disagreement functions.

  • Publication number: 20200032625
Abstract: A method and system for temporarily preventing fluid flow through a screen assembly installed in a wellbore can include a screen assembly interconnected in a tubing string. Components of the screen assembly can include a base pipe, one or more filter layers, an optional drainage layer(s), with flow paths through each of the components. A degradable metal barrier can be applied to at least one of the components, which thereby temporarily prevents fluid flow through the flow paths, and temporarily provides pressure isolation radially between an interior and an exterior of the screen assembly. Degradation of the metal barrier can allow fluid and pressure communication radially between the interior and the exterior of the screen assembly.
