Publication number: 20170139156Abstract: A duplex clip assembly for LC fiber optic plug connectors has a duplex housing, a crimp sleeve, and a housing cover. The duplex housing retains a portion of each fiber optic plug connector such as to allow each fiber optic plug connector to rotate relative to the duplex housing. The housing also has a bottom snap located on an underside. The housing cover encloses and retains the duplex housing with a clearance between the housing cover and the rest of the assembly. The housing cover also has a slot located on an underside configured to engage the bottom snap of the duplex housing such that the clearance fit allows an application of pressure on the sides of the housing cover to result in the slot being disengaged from the bottom snap. The clip assembly can also have a boot securely attached to the housing partially enclosing the fiber optic cable.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 27, 2017Publication date: May 18, 2017Applicant: Panduit Corp.Inventors: Phillip J. Irwin, John G. Dalton

Patent number: 9415628Abstract: Application of carbon fiber reinforced polymer structures to metal vehicle wheels is effective in reducing the mass of the wheel while retaining suitable stiffness in the wheel structure. For maximum effect the reinforced polymer structure and the metal wheel must operate cooperatively. Because of the wide range of operating temperatures experienced by wheels and the large difference in coefficient of thermal expansion between metals and carbon fiber reinforced composites attachment of the polymer structure to the wheel by adhesive alone is problematical. However a wheel with an effective and durable reinforcement may be fabricated by confining, through mechanical interference, the reinforced polymer in a cavity in or on the spoke and by preheating the wheel before curing the polymer.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2012Date of Patent: August 16, 2016Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventors: Hamid G. Patent number: 9412147Abstract: An apparatus for processing graphics data may include a plurality of processing pipelines, each pipeline configured to receive and process pixel data. A functional unit may combine the outputs of each processing pipeline. A buffer included in a given processing pipeline may be configured to store data from the functional unit in response to a determination that the given processing pipeline is inactive. The buffer may then send the stored data to a memory.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2014Date of Patent: August 9, 2016Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Peter F. Holland, Hari Ganesh R. Publication number: 20150310900Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for aggregating memory requests with opportunism in a display pipeline. Memory requests are aggregated for each requestor of a plurality of requestors in the display pipeline. When the number of memory requests for a given requestor reaches a corresponding threshold, memory requests may be issued for the given requestor. In response to determining the given requestor has reached its threshold, other requestors may issue memory requests even if they have not yet aggregated enough memory requests to reach their corresponding thresholds.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 25, 2014Publication date: October 29, 2015Applicant: Apple Inc.Inventors: Marc A. Publication number: 20150286012Abstract: This application describes several embodiments of a duplex clip assembly for use in aiding the insertion and removal of a pair of LC fiber optic connectors. In one embodiment, the assembly includes a clip body with a hood. The clip body has a central wall, upper tabs and lower tabs configured to loosely retain a pair of LC connectors such as to allow the clip body to move axially relative to the LC connectors. The hood is configured to engage a camming surface on the LC connector latches when the clip body is moved axially rearward relative to the LC connector. In a second embodiment, the assembly includes a duplex housing and a housing cover. The duplex housing retains the LC connectors such as to allow them to rotate. The housing cover has a hood protruding from the top configured to engage a camming surface on the LC connector latches.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 22, 2015Publication date: October 8, 2015Applicant: PANDUIT CORP.Inventors: PHILLIP J.
