    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for accessing a wireless network are provided herein. A method according to at least one embodiment includes receiving a transmission including system information indicating a random access channel (RACH) configuration. The RACH configuration may indicate one or more RACH occasions and one or more preambles, each of the RACH occasions associated with at least one of the one or more preambles. The method may include receiving one or more reference signals and transmitting one of the preambles in a RACH occasion that is associated with the transmitted preamble. The transmitted preamble may be selected for transmission based on a measurement of the received one or more reference signals, and wherein the transmitted preamble is transmitted using beamforming parameters derived based on the received one or more reference signals.

The WTRU is configured to select a random access preamble having a preamble index. The WTRU is configured to determine a scrambling sequence for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. The scrambling sequence for the PUSCH transmission is initialized as a function of a random access-radio network temporary identifier (RA-RNTI) and the preamble index. The RA-RNTI is based on a symbol, a slot, a frequency, and a carrier identifier (ID). The WTRU is configured to send a message to a network node. The message comprises the selected random access preamble and the PUSCH transmission. The PUSCH transmission is scrambled with the determined scrambling sequence that is based on the RA-RNTI and the preamble index.

For a slot, the WTRU determines a number of valid PDCCH candidates associated with at least one search space based on a number of designated search spaces associated with the WTRU in the slot, a type of the search space, a priority associated with the search space, a number of required CCE channel estimates associated with the search space, a maximum number of PDCCH candidates in a slot, and a number of control resource sets (CORESETs) associated with the slot. The WTRU may then attempt to decode CCEs in the at least one search space to recover a PDCCH associated with the WTRU. The WTRU may drop PDCCH candidates from the search space when the number of PDCCH exceeds a maximum value.

An interference is suppressed based on the interference measurement. At least one DM-IM resource is located in a Physical Resource Block (PRB). The DM-IM resource is located in a PRB allocated for the WTRU. The DM-IM resource is a plurality of DM-IM resources which form a DM-IM pattern, and the DM-IM pattern is located on a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) and/or an enhanced Physical Downlink Shared Channel (E-PDSCH) of at least one Long Term Evolution (LTE) subframe. The DM-IM resources are different for different Physical Resource Blocks (PRB) in the LTE subframe. The DM-IM is located in a Long Term Evolution (LTE) Resource Block (RB), and the DM-IM pattern is adjusted.

    Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may perform a listen before talk (LBT) procedure associated with a sidelink (SL) bandwidth. The SL bandwidth may include a resource block (RB) set. The WTRU may determine a CSLF associated with the RB set of the SL bandwidth based on the LBT procedure. The WTRU may determine a resource for reporting the CSLF, for example, based on a priority rule. The priority rule may indicate that a licensed resource has a higher priority than an unlicensed resource. The priority rule may indicate that, if a consistent LBT failure is not detected on an unlicensed uplink (UL) resource, the unlicensed UL resource has a higher priority than an unlicensed SL resource. The WTRU may send a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) using the determined resource. In examples, the MAC CE may indicate the RB set.
