  • Patent number: 8360368
Abstract: The seat specially designed for space vehicles and in particular space planes comprises a rigid hull and parts of axis of which the direction of alignment passes in front of the occupant of the seat and along him; the seat rotates freely around parts of axis according to the direction of the acceleration in order to always place the occupant in the orientation perpendicular to the forces of acceleration.

  • Patent number: 8201847
Abstract: A safety arrangement includes an airbag housing, a cover and pair of horn contacts for actuating a vehicle horn. The airbag housing mounts to a steering wheel frame. The cover is resiliently mounted on the housing and spaced therefrom such that the cover may be depressed towards the housing to close the horn contacts. The housing and cover are hooked to one another for preventing subsequent disconnection of the cover from the housing upon release of the cover to open the horn contacts. A stop is mounted to one of the cover and the housing for movement between a operable position, in which the stop arrests relative movement of the cover and housing towards one another so as to prevent un-hooking of the cover from the housing, and an assembly position, in which the cover may be depressed sufficiently far towards the housing to allow un-hooking of the cover from the housing and consequent disconnection of the housing and cover upon release of the cover.

  • Publication number: 20100276545
Abstract: This aircraft comprises both propulsion units (7, 16, 17) for conventional aircraft flight in the atmosphere and for high-altitude operation as a rocket. It is divided into a payload compartment (8) and a compartment (13) essentially containing rocket propulsion unit ergols. It comprises a long transverse wing (3) with a small back-sweep to favour the lift in the dense layers of the atmosphere and make it possible to climb to high altitudes at a subsonic speed before using the rocket propulsion units. The return is performed by gliding or controlled as for a conventional aircraft.

  • Patent number: 7685555
Abstract: Within an Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tool, a method of macro inference can include translating a hardware description language (HDL) template into a macro template and translating a circuit design into a format corresponding to the macro template. The method further can include matching a portion of the translated circuit design with the macro template and replacing the portion of the circuit design matching the macro template with a macro associated with the macro template. The resulting updated circuit design is then output, e.g., to a user, a computer file, or another EDA tool.

  • Patent number: 7574688
Abstract: A method of integrating a High-level Language (HLL) function with a Hardware Description Language (HDL) representation of a circuit design can include identifying an attribute of the HDL representation of the circuit design that is resolved at compile time and determining a value for the attribute using an HLL function when compiling the HDL representation of the circuit design.

  • Publication number: 20040244859
Abstract: A process for the production of a textile preform from interlaced filaments or sections of filaments, using a support (16) of a shape appropriate to the preform, on which are applied superposed layers of filaments or sections of filaments crossed in at least two directions, the layers being interconnected by filaments or sections of filaments which pass through them, and the filaments or sections being stretched or held on the support (16) by pins (18). The method further includes the step of reimplantation of the pins (18) by offsetting them, so as to avoid the concentration of defects inherent in the use of pins.
