  • Patent number: 9808916
Abstract: A reduced arc box end ratchet wrench or ratchet drive wrench utilizes a multiple pawl ratchet assembly comprised of a body having an insert cavity to enclose critical components of an insert that is secured within the ratchet assembly. The insert is set into the wrench body and includes a plurality of pivoting pawls. Each pawl comprises a lever arm with ratchet engaging teeth. The pawl arms are positioned relative to the ratchet wheel to create “pawl swing arcs” and “reduced ratcheting arcs” to alternately or successively engage a portion of the teeth of a ratchet wheel at all times. This configuration allows smaller degrees between ratchet teeth and a smaller wrench rotation that is otherwise required to apply torque.

  • Publication number: 20170252371
Abstract: Here, we present a specific and novel method for treating cancer by eliciting an anti-tumor immune response in cancer patients. Specifically, this technique involves subcutaneous “auto-im-transplantation” of chimeric murine-human tumors, created in PDX mice, back to the original donor patients. This is an approach to personalized cancer therapy, which does not require identification of specific tumor associated antigens. Based on the fundamental principles of immunology, we anticipate that the autoimplanted PDX tumor will stimulate an intense immune response in the original donor patient—including activation of “xenoreactive” lymphocytes and, in turn, a “bystander” activation of anti-tumor immune response lymphocytes, which we anticipate that a response generated in this manner will become systemic and target other similar malignant cells in the patient.

  • Publication number: 20170157727
Abstract: The present invention is a dust collection assembly for capturing dust, debris and residue that is created during the process of drilling holes into a concrete ceiling. The dust collection assembly is used with a universal drill stand and a drill saddle which has an electric drill secured to it. The drill saddle further comprises a telescoping vacuum tube having a ceiling contact portion that encircles the drill bit at the portion of the drill bit where the drill bit enters the ceiling. As the drill bit begins to penetrate the ceiling, silica dust is generated and removed via the vacuum tube, which tube is connected to a vacuum source.

  • Patent number: 9576053
Abstract: A method and system for ranking an object that contains one or more keywords is disclosed. All linking objects are retrieved that contain a keyword of interest. Each linking object links to the object to be ranked. The locations of each link in each linking object are determined relative to the keywords in the linking objects. A drop off rate is computed for the keyword in each of the linking objects. A perceived importance of the keyword in the each of the linking objects is computed. A partial link rating for each of the linking objects is computed. A total link rating is computed for the at least one keyword across all linking objects. • Publication number: 20160299990
Abstract: A method for providing a search sample without a search being triggered is disclosed. The method includes receiving at least one partial search term in a search box. Probable search terms are determined by comparing the at least one partial search term to a database of common search terms. The probable search terms are displayed in a format that include a link to a sample search of each probable search term and a backslide button. When the link to a sample search of a probable search term is selected in the probable search terms, the sample search is displayed in a format that includes a close link. When the close link is selected in the sample search, the probable search terms are displayed again. When the backslide button is selected, the right most word from the search term is deleted.

  • Patent number: 9419293
Abstract: System and methods for measuring operating parameters of a fuel cell system are presented. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods may be configured to measure a high frequency resistance of a fuel cell system. A method for measuring a high frequency resistance of a fuel cell system may include inducing a current signal and a voltage signal through the FC system at a center frequency using a switched load. The current signal and the voltage signal may then be measured and filtered to isolate the current signal and the voltage signal from noise signals occurring in the FC system. A high frequency resistance of the FC may then be calculated based on the filtered current and voltage signals.

  • Patent number: 9410598
Abstract: A final drive assembly for a machine includes an input shaft drivably coupled to a prime mover. The input shaft is coupled to and drives a first stage gear assembly. The first stage gear assembly further drives a second stage gear assembly. The first and second stage gear assemblies drive a ring gear which is coupled to a wheel of the machine. The first and second stage gear assemblies are disposed between a first bearing assembly and a second bearing assembly. A spring member preloads the first bearing assembly to limit an axial movement of the first and second stage gear assemblies.
