  • Patent number: 11812819
Abstract: Bladder systems for footwear include: two inflation chambers; a valve body defining: (a) a bore, (b) a first fluid passage extending to the bore, (c) a second fluid passage extending between the bore and one inflation chamber, and (d) a third fluid passage extending between the bore and another inflation chamber; and a valve in the bore. The valve includes two orifices connected by a passage and rotates in the bore between two positions. In one position, a first orifice (of the “orifices”) is in fluid communication with the first fluid passage and a second orifice is in fluid communication with the second fluid passage to allow fluid flow to one inflation chamber. In another position, the first orifice is in fluid communication with the third fluid passage and the second orifice is in fluid communication with the first fluid passage to allow fluid flow to the other inflation chamber.

  • Patent number: 11813509
Abstract: An apparatus and a method that provides a helmet cap with an embedded visor on the inside of said helmet cap to train a wearer of a football helmet to correctly position the head in an up position when tacking and blocking during sports play. The cap can be detachably but securely attached to a football helmet and upper facemask in a position where it does not obstruct the view of the helmet wearer to a position where it does obstruct the helmet wearer's view and thus forces the helmet wearer to look up.

  • Publication number: 20230356697
Abstract: A rock knocker bracket holds a rock ejector such as a chain or bar that is used to clear debris from the gap between two tires of a mining vehicle. The rock ejector is pivotally mounted on a horizontal, lateral pin that is held at both ends by side plates of the bracket. The pin has a series of holes formed along its length. Bar retainers and washers mounted on the pin allow the rock ejector to be moved laterally along the pin and thereby provide for different laterally spacing configurations of the tires. Fasteners pass through holes in the bar retainers and the holes in the pin to hold the rock ejector at a predetermined lateral location along the pin. Alternative designs for the pin and the bracket include other systems for laterally moving the rock ejector and mounting it in the predetermined lateral position.

  • Publication number: 20230342769
Abstract: A physical, virtual reconciliation (“PVR”) system senses physical information about an individual user and uses that information to create, modify, or secure a virtual presence of the user. In one embodiment, the PVR system includes at least one physical device kept by the user (e.g., either at home or on the user's person) and configured to transmit a stream of substantially dynamic user variable values, at least one physical device kept by the user and configured to transmit substantially static user values, and a PVR server running software to analyze the values. In one embodiment, the PVR system provides for, among other things, reconciliation of an individual's physical presence with their virtual presence in a manner that ensures a security, including preventing the virtual presence from being appropriated, and control of the transmission of information about the user to third-parties.

  • Publication number: 20230276091
Abstract: A multiple-identity secure device (MISD) persistently may store an identification code. The identification code may be stored in an integral memory of the device, or on an interchangeable card received in a physical interface of the MISD. The MISD may generate one or more unique identities (e.g., network addresses) from the stored identification code. The generated identities may be dynamically generated or may be securely stored in the MISD for subsequent retrieval. The generated identities may generate in accordance with an addressing scheme, a global/network setting, or as determined from a received data transmission.

  • Patent number: 11737441
Abstract: Tool is an apparatus for tying fishing line of dissimilar and similar types together. It has a base frame to allow a person to hold the unit or secure to a stationary object with clamps or vice. Base Frame is a “C” shape fabricated from material to hold shape and pressure including wood, plastic, metal, or composite. Top “C” end one of base frame and top “C” end two of base frame have cleats that can be made from neoprene type of compressible material, silicon, including other material that will not damage filament. These cleats secure and align the line for tying. Using short post two with obtuse angle located at “C” end one point and high post one 90-degree angle on opposite “C” end these posts hold filament while the cleats hold the filament secure and steady. The post is used for wrapping similar and dissimilar line around when tying knot. This allows consistent secure tying from unit.

  • Patent number: 11691695
Abstract: A system for retracting a foil of a watercraft in the event of an impact has a strut extending from a watercraft, the strut has a pivot at one end that connects the strut to the watercraft and allows the strut to articulate around the pivot, a foil attached at a second end of the strut, wherein the foil has sufficient surface area configured to generate positive lift when the watercraft is traveling over water; and a retraction system including a mechanical fuse connected to the strut, the mechanical fuse holds the strut stationary and is subject to forces from the strut when the strut travels through water, the retraction system allows retraction of the strut around the pivot when the strut experiences a force greater than a predetermined limit, and the foil is configured to articulate on the strut to maintain positive lift orientation as the strut is retracting.

  • Patent number: 11666506
Abstract: Devices and methods for compressing a chest of a patient includes a platform for placement under a thorax of the patient, a compression belt for extending over an anterior chest wall of the patient, a drive train operably connected to the compression belt, a motor operably connected to the compression belt through the drive train, and a control system configured to control operation of the motor to cause the drive train to tighten and loosen the compression belt in repeated cycles of compression about the thorax of the patient. Each cycle of the repeated cycles includes tightening the compression belt around the chest of the patient after tightening, causing, by the control system, the motor to cease operation of the drive train for a hold period; and at a termination of the hold period, loosening the compression belt around the chest of the patient.
