  • Publication number: 20190327512
Abstract: A multiple-identity secure device (MISD) persistently may store an identification code. The identification code may be stored in an integral memory of the device, or on an interchangeable card received in a physical interface of the MISD. The MISD may generate one or more unique identities (e.g., network addresses) from the stored identification code. The generated identities may be dynamically generated or may be securely stored in the MISD for subsequent retrieval. The generated identities may generates in accordance with an addressing scheme, a global/network setting, or as determined from a received data transmission.

  • Patent number: 10440461
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for an earpiece that includes an audio subsystem and a longitudinal housing that is bendable between a substantially straight shape and a substantially curved shape. The longitudinal housing may contain the audio subsystem and include a flexible material. Additionally, a speaker may be coupled to the audio subsystem and positioned at an end of the longitudinal housing. In one example, the earpiece also includes a controller coupled to the flexible material, wherein the controller generates one or more control signals that cause the flexible material to automatically complete a bend of the longitudinal housing to the substantially curved shape.

  • Patent number: 10344538
Abstract: A clamp for supporting an apparatus, such as a pump, a motor, or other mechanism to be lowered into a drill hole includes two coupling halves connected together using a bolts and nuts. Each half has a semicircular interior that forms a cylinder when two halves are connected to each other. Protrusions in the semi-circular interiors mate with indentations in the pump wall to support the pump. Chains or other devices attach to eyelet bolts or to a pivoting bail affixed on top of the coupling halves so that the clamp and the pump may be raised or lowered by external lifting apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10334305
Abstract: A multiple-identity secure device (MISD) persistently stores a single identification code (a “seed identity”). The seed identity need not be a network address, and may be stored in an integral memory of the device, or on an interchangeable card received in a physical interface of the MISD. The MISD is provided with a transformation engine, in hardware or software form, that is subsequently used to generate one or more unique identities (e.g., network addresses) from the stored seed identity using predefined logic. The generated identities may be dynamically generated, e.g., in real-time as needed after deployment of a device into possession of a subscriber/customer/user, etc., or may be securely stored in the MISD for subsequent retrieval. The transformation engine may generate a unique identity in accordance with an addressing scheme identified as a default setting, a global/network setting, or as determined from a received data transmission.
