  • Patent number: 11374837
Abstract: A method and system for categorizing Internet Protocol (IP) based network traffic is configured to monitor domain name system (DNS) transactions between at least one customer device and a DNS service. The DNS transactions are used to populate a data table, which is used to enrich a data record (e.g., IPDR). In particular, an IP address and/or customer ID in the data record is used to look up the corresponding domain name in the data table, which is added to the data record. The enriched data record is used to categorize the IP traffic.

  • Patent number: 8609555
Abstract: When forming complex metallization systems, a sensitive material, such as a ULK material, may be deposited on a silicon-containing dielectric material, such as an etch stop material, with superior adhesion by performing a surface treatment on the basis of fluorine radicals. Due to the fluorine treatment, silicon-fluorine bonds are generated, which are then broken up upon interacting with the chemically active component during the further deposition process. Consequently, the subsequent material layer is chemically bonded to the underlying material, thereby imparting superior stability to the interface, which in turn may result in superior robustness and reliability of the metallization system upon performing reflowing processes and operating complex packaged semiconductor devices.

  • Patent number: 8285506
Abstract: An apparatus for generating a measure of fluid. The apparatus comprises a flow meter and a pulser having an identifier and a memory. The pulser is associated with the flow meter for generating pulser data indicative of a volume of fluid delivered through the flow meter. The pulser may alter the pulser data using correction data stored in its memory to generate altered pulser data. The pulser may store at least one of the pulser data and the altered pulser data in the memory. The apparatus further comprises a switch operatively connected to the pulser's memory. The switch is operative to vary the memory of the pulser between a write-protected and a write-enabled mode. Also, the apparatus comprises a controller in communication with the pulser and a serial communication circuit which enables communication between the pulser and the controller. Communication between the controller and the pulser includes the identifier.

  • Publication number: 20100071415
Abstract: A method of producing antimicrobial or antibacterial glass particles, wherein known starting materials are fused, broken or powdered, fed to an extruder, fused therein with addition of defined dose of foaming agents, the foaming agents being introduced into the molten glass by the building pressure, the molten glass being then foamed to give a closed-pore foam on a subsequent pressure reduction to increase surface area and the foam subsequently subjected to a comminution process. The glass particles generated in the comminution process become antimicrobial or antibacterial during an ion exchange or the antimicrobial or antibacterial properties thereof are increased as a result of the ion exchange.
