  • Publication number: 20250146923
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and kits for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) fluorescence or chemiluminescence detection. Beneficially, the kits are miniaturized, portable, and can provide low-cost instrumentation. The systems disclosed can utilize a smartphone, tablet or similar device to capture emitted fluorescence or chemiluminescence and to analyze the data to provide chromatograms in different detection channels by plotting red, green, and blue color intensities of emitted fluorescence or chemiluminescence versus time. The systems preferably comprise a flow cell capable of withstanding high mobile phase flow rates, a chamber box, and for fluorescence an LED as a light source and fiber optics to transmit emitted fluorescence to a smartphone camera.

  • Patent number: 12275105
Abstract: A method and apparatus for maintaining integrally bladed rotors (IBR) includes using first vibration data from a IBR vibration apparatus of a first IBR to determine a set of values for a corresponding set of inherent vibratory properties based on a reduced order model for an IBR type to which the first IBR belongs. Shape data indicating an initial shape of a surface of a first blade is used, with repair data that indicates a candidate repair to form a restored shape, to determine a change in a value of an inherent blade section vibratory property of the set of inherent vibratory properties. A condition of the first IBR is determined based at least in part on the change in the value of the inherent blade section vibratory property. The first IBR is maintained based on the condition.

  • Publication number: 20240350350
Abstract: An air massager includes an air turbine having an output and a pulsed air generator located downstream of the output. Operation of the air generator alternately allows and restricts air flow from the massager. The pulsed air generator includes a rotor having a first rotor aperture and a remainder of rotor apertures. The first rotor aperture and the remainder of rotor apertures are all of the rotor apertures. The rotor is connected to the air turbine. A stator plate is located vertically below the rotor. The stator plate has a first stator aperture and a remainder of stator apertures. The first stator aperture and the remainder of stator apertures are all of the stator apertures. When the rotor rotates, when the first rotor aperture is aligned with the first stator aperture, none of the remainder of rotor apertures are aligned with any of the remainder of stator apertures, generating pulses.
