  • Patent number: 11293197
Abstract: The mobile cart, convertible to a canopy shelter, scissor member rectilinear expandable side frameworks having closed, fully open and intermediate modes. A canopy framework of extendable canopy struts. A central hub pivotally connected to upper strut ends. Vertically extendable legs having corner joints pivotally connected to lower strut ends and to adjacent side scissor frameworks. Each leg has a wheel. A fabric canopy cover on the expanded side framework when the struts form a pitched frame. Struts have a substantially closed, vertical stand mode when telescopically collapsed. Struts have a cart-floor mode at an intermediate length when legs are intermediate height, forming an open top wheeled cart. Fully collapsed, canopy cover is interstitial vertical standing struts and collapsed side frameworks.

  • Patent number: 9895001
Abstract: A cell phone and accessories pouch is attached or attachable an armrest of a chair. A closeable pouch pocket has a transparent view panel for visual access to pocket content and an opposite opaque surface or outboard pocket. Items fall to the bottom of the pocket in a first instance beneath the armrest due to a depending flap near the armrest. In another instance, depending flap wraps around the armrest, placing the stored cellphone atop the armrest and permitting both visual and through-panel tactile access to the cellphone. An opaque privacy panel may cover the view panel. Pocket closures include zippers, buttons, snaps, hook and loop cloth or ziploc closures. Pouch mounts for include snaps, buttons, toggle bars, screws, nuts and tongue-n-groove. The pouch may be permanently affixed to the chair.

  • Publication number: 20170318973
Abstract: A cell phone and accessories pouch is attached or attachable an armrest of a chair. An closeable inboard pouch pocket has a transparent view panel for inboard-only visual access to pocket content due to an opaque outboard surface or outboard pocket. Items fall to the bottom of the inboard pocket in a first instance beneath the armrest due to a depending flap near the armrest. In another instance, depending flap wraps around the armrest, placing the stored cellphone atop the armrest and permitting both visual and through-panel tactile access to the cellphone. The size of the pouch is less than the size of the armrest. Pocket closures include zippers, buttons, snaps, hook and loop cloth or ziploc closures. Pouch mounts for removable attachment include snaps, buttons, toggle bars, screws, nuts and tongue-n-groove. The pouch may be permanently affixed to the chair.

  • Publication number: 20170055711
Abstract: A folding chair with a bulbous chair adjustment mechanism. A chair back support frame pivotally attached to seat support frame covered with user support fabric or webbing. The X-frame chair has pivotal forward and rearward leg frames. A terminal vertical fore-leg end has a bulbous cap thereon. Armrest frames pivot on back support frame and the adjustment mechanism includes the bulbous cap and a yoke (stem and tines). The stem pivots on the armrest. The tines pivot on the bulbous cap and fore-leg end. The bulbous cap encloses the U-shaped tine space and substantially fills the U-shaped space such that armrest rotation relative to the forward leg frame causes yoke to swing forward and rearward and move back support frame up-and-back. The cap enclosed U-shaped tine space avoids finger pinch.

  • Patent number: 9173495
Abstract: The chair adjustment mechanism, attached beneath a chair arm, has a housing and four walls forming an interior closed space. A closing bottom wall has a longitudinal guide slot. A longitudinal continuous serpentine adjustment cam surface. A cam follower on an adjustment plate moves on the cam surface in the interior space. The adjustment plate movably extends through the guide slot in a close fit and substantially closes the guide slot thereat. In one embodiment, each sidewall defines an opposing cam surface and a pair of cam followers extend laterally from an upper region of the adjustment plate. The lower plate extends outward from the slot and is preferably attached to two chair legs. The adjustment plate moves vertically, first out from the depending cam ridges, then the plate and cam follower moves longitudinally, and then moves vertically into a different intersection between adjacent depending cam ridges.

  • Patent number: 8851504
Abstract: The X-frame cart has pivotally connected X-frame legs with front and rear wheels at terminal leg ends, a lower rear cross frame member between the wheels, and a lower framework with fore-aft-left-right frame members to define a rectangular openwork space. The lower framework is pivotally mounted to opposing X-frame members at the lower rear cross frame member. A flexible panel spans a portion of the rectangular openwork space. The panel is mounted on either the lower fore and aft frame members or on the left and right longitudinal frame members which define the rectangular or square openwork space. A pull bar pivotally mounted to the front end lower framework and the rear wheel permits the pull bar to move the cart fore-end towards the rear-end when the pull-bar is moved upward. The X-frame legs collapse towards each other. The cart has a chair hanger and an open-top bag.

  • Patent number: 8646805
Abstract: A cart includes foldable upper and lower frame members. In some arrangements, the cart can also double as a table. The cart includes a main-frame structure, an upper framework pivotally attached to an upper portion of the main-frame, and a lower frame stand pivotally attached to a bottom portion of the main-frame. A panel is provided in the cart space defined by the side members of the main-frame structure. The cart stands upright when the main-frame is in a vertical position with respect to the surface of the ground and the lower frame stand is extended with respect to the main-frame. The cart can function as a table when the main-frame is positioned horizontally with respect to the surface of the ground and the upper framework and the lower frame stand are extended with respect to the main-frame.
