Abstract: Disclosed herein are a communication terminal and communication network for partially updating software, a software update method, and a software creation device and method therefor. The software is divided into a plurality of areas each having a predetermined size, and unique identification keys are assigned to the areas of the software, respectively. A search is made for at least one changed area among the areas of the software on the basis of version information of the software or the identification keys, and data of the changed area is downloaded to upgrade the software. Therefore, it is possible to shorten an upgrade time of the software.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a structure of an animation font file and a text displaying method of a handheld terminal. The structure of the animation font file and the text displaying method may realize an animation using limited hardware resources without using images or videos by sequentially displaying plural font images with respect to input text data in accordance with times set for each frame, in which the text data are input by storing font images through a basic mapping table and an extended mapping table, so as to output different font images for each frame with respect to one text data.

Abstract: A DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting) receiver is provided, including: an equalizing unit compensating for distortion in CDM (code division multiplexing) channel signals in DMB based on a tap factor; and a channel estimation unit comparing version information contained in individual CDM channel control data in a pilot channel signal in DMB with version information contained in individual CDM channel control data in a previous pilot channel signal, and, if the version information match each other, using the CDM channel control data as a channel estimation sequence to perform a channel estimation process in a segment having no pilot symbol, and updating the tap factor of the equalizing unit according to a result of the channel estimation.

The cyber shopping mall management method includes adjusting a size of an image of a wear item to be purchased to fit a size of an image of an object to wear the wear item, synthesizing the adjusted wear item image onto the object image, and transmitting the synthesized image to a buyer. Thus, the cyber shopping mall management system and method enable a buyer to indirectly examine whether a wear item to be purchased can fit an object through an image of the object wearing the desired wear item, thus reducing a return rate of purchased wear items.

The sliding type portable terminal includes a first housing, a second housing connected with the first housing while facing the first housing and reciprocating on the first housing in a straight direction, and a guide member mounted to the first housing, the guide member being slidably connected to the second housing while surrounding edges of a rear case of the second housing, wherein ends of both sides of the guide member are surrounded by a front case of the second housing. The sliding type portable terminal can be readily reduced in thickness because the guide member mounted to the first housing is slidably connected to the rear case of the second housing while surrounding the rear case of the second housing. Further, a battery mounting hole is formed in the first housing and closed by the guide member at the one face of the first housing, by which the reduction of thickness of the sliding type portable terminal is more efficiently achieved.

Abstract: A hinge device for a portable terminal includes a first hinge base, a second hinge base, and an elastic member. The first hinge base has a receiving groove on a surface thereof. The second hinge base is rotatably coupled to the first hinge base and has stopper ribs which extend from a surface of the second hinge base and are arranged along a circumferential direction. The elastic member is received in the receiving groove of the first hinge base and presses against an outer peripheral surface of the stopper ribs as the second hinge base rotates with respect to the first hinge base. The hinge device has a reduced number of parts so as to allow easy assembly of the hinge device, thereby improving manufacturing productivity. Further, the structure with the elastic member that presses the stopper rib minimizes the size of the portable terminal and improves the portability of the portable terminal.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming a HSG silicon layer on a capacitor lower electrode of a semiconductor memory device. The apparatus includes a processing chamber having a plurality of source gas supply nozzles, the lengths of the nozzles being different from one another so as to uniformly supply a source gas. A loadlock chamber is placed under the processing chamber. A boat loaded with wafers is moved from the loadlock chamber to the processing chamber, with the boat being rotated while the source gas is supplied. The processing chamber and loadlock chambers are connected to a vacuum system having two vacuum pumps for maintaining a vacuum in the chambers. A third vacuum pump, connected to the processing chamber, is operated when the vacuum in the processing chamber reaches a predetermined value.

Moreover, the in-plane uniformity of the processing objects after processing can be ensured.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a cap. The cap is very useful in many aspects that it not only blocks the sun but also cools the head of the cap wearer, by tying the ends of the covers bands together or connecting them with a Velcro tape, thereby providing the cap wearer with more satisfaction of wearing the cap. Abstract: The present invention discloses a wig cap made of real hair. The wig cap has several benefits in that it is not easily taken off the head because of wind or some motions of a cap wearer and can be a great help for reducing insomnia, stress and headache and improving concentration and memory. The former is realized by applying a resin adsorption layer, which has an excellent adsorption capacity and does not harm a human body, to the front of the wig cap as well as the entire part or at regular intervals on the inside of its band; and the latter is realized by mixing (or adding) liquefied germanium (Ge) with the resin adsorption layer, whereby an ionization energy and far-infrared activation energy radiated from germanium stabilizes brain waves in the head and resolves side effects of unstable brain waves, i.e. insomnia, stress, headache etc.
