  • Cap
    Publication number: 20040045076
Abstract: The present invention discloses a cap. The cap is very useful in many aspects that it not only blocks the Sun but also cools the head of the cap wearer, by tying the ends of the covers bands together or connecting them with a Velcro tape, thereby providing the cap wearer with more satisfaction of wearing the cap. In addition, the cap of the present invention is not easily slid off the head by wind or some motions of the cap wearer by applying the resin adsorption layer containing germanium, it being known to be not harmful to a human body and have an excellent adsorption capacity, to the entire inner surface or some parts of bands of the cap at regular intervals so as to stabilize brain waves of the cap wearer by taking advantage of ionization energy and far-infrared energy radiated from germanium, thereby releasing insomnia, stress and headache caused by unstable brain waves and improving concentration and memory.

  • Patent number: 6673673
Abstract: An apparatus and method for forming a HSG silicon layer on a capacitor lower electrode of a semiconductor memory device. The apparatus includes a processing chamber having a plurality of source gas supply nozzles, the lengths of the nozzles being different from one another so as to uniformly supply a source gas. A loadlock chamber is placed under the processing chamber. A boat loaded with wafers is moved from the loadlock chamber to the processing chamber, with the boat being rotated while the source gas is supplied. The processing chamber and loadlock chambers are connected to a vacuum system having two vacuum pumps for maintaining a vacuum in the chambers. A third vacuum pump, connected to the processing chamber, is operated when the vacuum in the processing chamber reaches a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 6459890
Abstract: A watch type portable radiotelephone is disclosed which includes a body element having upper and lower case frames, data input means, an LCD unit for outputting inputted data and displaying a variety of information, an antenna unit electrically connected to a receiver and a transmitter, a speaker unit, and a microphone unit. The radiotelephone also includes a holding part formed integrally with the lower case frame of the body element. The holding part at least partially defines a receiving space in which a battery pack for supplying power to the body element is able to be received. The holding part secures the battery pack to the body element. A locking projection for locking and unlocking the battery pack to and from the body element is formed on the battery pack. An electrically conductive connection assembly is provided for electrically connecting the body element and the battery pack with each other.

  • Publication number: 20020063687
Abstract: A key input device is provided for inputting digits/letters/characters/symbols by a keypad and a character input method for the key input device. In the key input device, a mode key is pressed to select one of a plurality of key matrixes for a corresponding mode, which is displayed on a display. A first directional key is used for inter-cell movement in the displayed key matrix and a second directional key is used to select an intended digit/letter/character/symbol within a cell. In the character input method, a mode with a unique key matrix is set by pressing a mode key. An intended cell is moved to within the key matrix by pressing a first directional key. An intended digit/letter/character/symbol is selected in the cell by pressing a second directional key. The selected digit/letter/character/symbol is displayed on a display.

  • Patent number: 6301622
Abstract: A computer system uses a read only memory to store computer identifying data. The computer starts by reading the identification number recorded on a bar code and temporarily storing the data in an auxiliary memory of the computer. Then, the computer system loads the basic input/output services instructions from the read only memory and writes the instructions into the random access memory of the computer. After, the identification number, or data, that is stored in the auxiliary memory is stored in the random access memory. Then, the computer erases the data stored in the read only memory that relates to the basic input/out services. Afterwards, the computer stores both the computer identifying information and the data related to the basic input/output services into the read only memory. The stored computer identification data can also be used to provide an exclusive network address.

  • Publication number: 20010013077
Abstract: A portable computer with infrared data communication capabilities is disclosed. The computer has an infrared transceiver capable of enlarging the data sending/receiving angle and reliably performing radio data communication with another electronic appliance. The computer also has a selection circuit capable of activating all light elements during a data sending operation or selecting one active light receiving element from a plurality of light receiving elements during a data receiving operation, thus performing a reliable infrared data communication. In the computer, an opening is formed on an outside edge of the display body. Both an infrared data sending unit, consisting of at least one light element, and an infrared data receiving unit, consisting of at least one light receiving element, are commonly carried on a circuit board set in the opening of the display body.

  • Patent number: 6160702
Abstract: A portable computer that uses multiple sub-batteries, that are the collective equivalent of one regular computer battery, that are serially connected to power a portable computer. The sub-batteries each contain a small number of battery cells and are connected to the main circuit board, or mother board, of the portable computer to supply power to the portable computer. An electric connecting means may be adapted for connecting two sub-batteries to the motherboard. The multiple sub-battery system allows a more flexible layout design for the installation of various internal components inside of the portable computer. Thus, the small sized battery seats can be placed in various, priorly unusable space, places. Now portions of the computer's battery system can be stored in the corners of the housing, or in narrow spots between other internal components.

  • Patent number: 5821152
Abstract: A method of forming a hemispherical grained silicon electrode includes the steps of forming an amorphous silicon layer on an integrated circuit substrate, and heating the integrated circuit substrate and the amorphous silicon layer to a first deposition temperature. The amorphous silicon layer is exposed to a source gas including silicon while maintaining the first deposition temperature thereby forming silicon crystal nuclei on a surface of the amorphous silicon layer. The temperature of the integrated circuit substrate is lowered to a second deposition temperature wherein the second deposition temperature is less than the first deposition temperature. The silicon crystal nuclei are exposed to the source gas including silicon while maintaining the second deposition temperature thereby increasing a size of the silicon crystal nuclei.
