  • Publication number: 20150257593
Abstract: A vertical grill comprises a back chimney within the housing having an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is in the form of one or more first openings in the back frame member, and the outlet being a second opening which is higher than the inlet. A first air intake located in at least one of the grill's panels. A removable tray module comprises a slide positioned at an incline between the front and back sides, configured to direct fats and break away solids to the front side of the tray. At least one channel is covered by the slide and configured for air flow. An external receptacle is positioned at the front side of the tray, wherein the slide leads into the receptacle so that fats and break away solids may be channeled into the external receptacle after traveling downwards along the incline of the slide.

  • Publication number: 20150208863
Abstract: A vertical grill for cooking food items is disclosed wherein the vertical grill is comprised of a body containing at least one vertical grilling area disposed between at least two sources of radiant heat energy, and wherein the body is adapted to direct fats and breakaway solids generated during the cooking of the food into an external receptacle via the external opening. It achieves this by including evacuation slides which are contained within the body of the grill and arranged in various shaped assemblies such that food and fats falling on the evacuation slide travels down until it is collected by evacuation slide guide which delivers the food and fats to the external receptacle where they are not in any danger of catching fire.

  • Publication number: 20140102316
Abstract: An electric grill for cooking food items comprises: a receptacle for receiving fats and breakaway solids generated during the cooking of the food; and a safety mechanism configured to prevent the grill from operating without at least one movement of the receptacle subsequent to the grill being powered on. Optionally, other safety features include, a fire suppression system, temperatures sensors, proximity sensors for detecting obstructions near the grill, weight sensors, liquid level sensors and infrared photo-interrupter sensors for detecting whether the tray has been removed from the grill, since the grill's last operation.

  • Patent number: 8463587
Abstract: A method of simulating an integrated circuit design is provided. In this method, a node order ranking of nodes in a netlist can be determined. Circuits of the netlist can then be partitioned based on the node order ranking with both static current driving and dynamic current driving schemes. A hierarchical data structure can be built based on the node order partitioning. In one embodiment, intermediate node orders can be dynamically merged for simulation optimization. Then, the circuits can be re-partitioned based on one or more merged intermediate node orders. Solving and integration can be performed using the hierarchical data structure to generate an order-ranked hierarchy engine. Analysis on the order-ranked hierarchy engine can be performed. At this point, simulation data of the IC design can be exported based on the analysis. By using this method, linear network reduction with its attendant accuracy loss is unnecessary.

  • Publication number: 20120255449
Abstract: A vertical grill (11) for cooking food items is disclosed wherein the vertical grill is comprised of a body (12) containing at least one vertical grilling area disposed between at least two sources of radiant heat energy (24), and wherein the body (12) is adapted to direct fats and breakaway solids generated during the cooking of the food into an external receptacle (32) via the external opening (22). It achieves this by including (Evacuation Slides) guides (28) and (30) which are contained within the body (12) of the grill (11) and arranged in various shaped assemblies such that food and fats falling on (Evacuation Slide) guide 28 travels down until it is collected by (Evacuation Slide) guide (30) which delivers the food and fats to the external receptacle (32) where they are not in any danger of catching fire.

  • Patent number: 8043512
Abstract: Fluid treatment arrangements and methods involve a spirally wound fluid treatment pack. The fluid treatment pack includes a fluid treatment medium, a feed region, and a permeate region. The feed region extends along a feed surface of the fluid treatment medium and the permeate region extends along a permeate surface of the fluid treatment medium. The fluid treatment pack is spirally wound around a core assembly to form a plurality of windings of the feed region, a plurality of windings of the fluid treatment medium, and a plurality of windings of the permeate region.

  • Patent number: 5490868
Abstract: An in-line filter includes a hollow base having first and second wall portions formed between its ends and a filter element mounted on the base. During use, the base of the filter is disposed inside a standard tubing connector, and the wall portions are resiliently deformed by the tubing connector such that the surfaces of the wall portions are pressed into sealing contact with internal surfaces of the tubing connector. The filter element connected to the base is disposed inside the tubing connector and/or tubing to which the tubing connector is attached. According to another form of the invention, a filter element includes a hollow base having a radially outwardly extending flange. An annular sealing member is mounted on the flange, and a filter element is mounted on the base. During use, the base of the filter is disposed inside a standard tubing connector, and the sealing member is pressed into sealing contact with internal surfaces of the tubing connector and with the flange.
