  • Patent number: 10330663
Abstract: System and method relates to measuring separation rate of water from water-in-crude oil emulsions at elevated temperature. The system includes an electrolytic interface (conductivity) cell comprising a plurality of capacitance/conductance probes disposed at different heights in a fluid stream disposed within the interface cell and an analyzer. Logic of the analyzer determines the separation rate based on signals received from the plurality of capacitance/conductance probes in the interface cell that are coupled to monitor the fluid stream. Methods for making and using the system are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9990191
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that generate notifications that are delivered to translators who provide updates or translations that are included in localization resources for software applications are provided. Resources are stored on a computing device in a first database or a second database. The second database stores the content that is selected for modification or translation. The languages may be selected by one or more application developers or may be based on a geographic region associated with the content or the language currently associated with the content. One or more translators are identified based on matches to translator profiles included in the second database. The matching translators receive notifications, which inform the translator that updates or translations are requested. In turn, the translators may access the second database and provide the updates or translations.

  • Patent number: 9772840
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon that generate notifications that are delivered to translators who provide updates or translations that are included in localization resources for software applications are provided. Resources are stored on a computing device in a first database or a second database. The first database is configured to store software and has a first buffer that stores content selected for updating or translation and a second buffer for receiving updated content or translated content. The second database is configured to receive the content stored in the first buffer of the first database and to store profiles associated with translators. The second database provides a portal to authenticate the translator before allowing a translator to enter translations for the content stored in the second database. A notification component notifies translators of content that matches a language of the translators.

  • Publication number: 20170186185
Abstract: A markerless tracking device comprising a source configured to direct a beam on a plurality of beam paths, where each beam path illuminates a distinct region of an object; a sensor configured to receive beam reflected from each region in order to generate an image of each region; and a processor configured to generate a metric which indicates suitability of a beam trajectory, wherein the metric is generated by comparing images of selected regions, and wherein the beam trajectory is a path over which the beam is to be directed by the source during markerless tracking of the object.
