  • Publication number: 20120292269
Abstract: A dishwasher rack assembly includes a bottom wall formed of spaced apart lateral rods crossed by spaced apart longitudinal rods to define an open lattice structure. A plurality of fixed vertical tines extend upward from the bottom wall and are arranged in pairs along the longitudinal or lateral aspect of the bottom wall with a defined space between adjacent pairs of the fixed vertical tines. A frame structure is provided with a shape and size so as to slide along the bottom wall between the pairs of fixed vertical tines. A plurality of vertical tines extend upward from the frame structure and are arranged in pairs along the frame structure. A securement mechanism is configured between the frame structure and the bottom wall to accommodate relative movement and anchoring between the frame structure and the bottom wall for variable positioning of the frame structure tines relative to the pairs of fixed vertical tines.

  • Publication number: 20120125250
Abstract: A floating spar hull for offshore oil and natural gas exploration and production having a centerwell arrangement wherein a supporting wellbay deck is positioned in the centerwell at a level below the uppermost portion of the spar hull in the centerwell. The wellbay deck is attached to the spar hull by any suitable means such as shear plates such that a space remains between the deck and the spar hull for risers. This allows equipment to be placed below the uppermost deck of the topsides and eliminates or minimizes wind loads on the equipment.

  • Publication number: 20110231986
Abstract: An elastic skin suit simulates gravitational loading. By selecting material(s) of appropriate dimensions and appropriate moduli of elasticity, and optionally integrating inelastic portions to maintain a desired surface distribution, the suit can be adapted to impose a loading regime that simulates the loading of terrestrial gravity in a more continuous, shoulder-to-ankle manner than current loading suits.

  • Publication number: 20110219999
Abstract: A truss type spar that eliminates the need for the more complex and critical attachment of the buoyant hull to the truss section at a fabrication site/yard that is remote from the fabrication yard where the buoyant hull and truss sections were originally built. The buoyant hull and initial truss sections are constructed at the fabrication yard of choice, joined together, and transported to a dock or fabrication yard (a second location) that is as close as possible to the final offshore installation site. Transport of such completed structures, either separately or together, is normally done on a heavy lift vessel to reduce transport time and prevent damage to the buoyant hull and truss sections. Once at the fabrication yard/dock, the joined buoyant hull and initial truss section are floated off the heavy lift vessel and the draft adjusted to a position suitable for joining additional truss sections.

  • Patent number: 7997351
Abstract: Pneumatic drifters containing a drifter cylinder with removable feet and associated methods for using the pneumatic drifters are described. The removable feet are connected to feet pad of a drifter cylinder with multiple fasteners. The mating surfaces of the feet and the feet pad are provided with complimentary features that limit the shearing forces on the fasteners during operation of the drifter rock drill. The removable feet can be replaced quickly and easily without have to replace the entire drifter cylinder, thereby saving time and reducing costs. Other embodiments are also described.
