  • Patent number: 11962393
Abstract: A system for network agnostic satellite communications includes an antenna configured to receive at least one antenna receive beam including multiple receive carriers multiplexed in at least one of frequency or time. The system further includes a signal processor configured to receive the multiple receive carriers and to extract data from at least one receive carrier of the multiple receive carriers. The system further includes an input device configured to receive at least one desirable communication parameter. The system further includes a control processor designed to determine actual parameters corresponding to the multiple receive carriers of the at least one antenna receive beam. The control processor is further designed to select an optimal receive carrier by comparing the at least one desirable communication parameter to the actual parameters. The control processor is further designed to establish a current communication link with the optimal receive carrier.

  • Patent number: 11936358
Abstract: An acoustic resonator device with low thermal impedance has a substrate and a single-crystal piezoelectric plate having a back surface attached to a top surface of the substrate via a bonding oxide (BOX) layer. An interdigital transducer (IDT) formed on the front surface of the plate has interleaved fingers disposed on the diaphragm. The piezoelectric plate and the BOX layer are removed from a least a portion of the surface area of the device to provide lower thermal resistance between the conductor pattern and the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11874086
Abstract: A firearm accessory mounting system includes a mount for attachment to a firearm mounting structure such as a handguard. The firearm mounting structure includes a slot. The mount includes projections around an opening for a fastener. The projections may, for example, be a slotted recoil lug. The opening includes first and second regions having different slopes. The fastener has a head which, during tightening, initially engages the second region to deform the projections radially outward against an end of the slot in the firearm mounting structure. Continued tightening of the fastener causes the head to engage the first region of the opening to apply an axial clamping force on the mount against the firearm mounting structure. This results in securing forces both transverse and parallel to the rotational axis of the fastener.

  • Patent number: 11775930
Abstract: This disclosure describes a device and system for verifying the content of items in a bin within a materials handling facility. In some implementations, a bin content verification apparatus may pass by one or more bins and capture images of those bins. The images may be processed to determine whether the content included in the bins has changed since the last time images of the bins were captured. A determination may also be made as to whether a change to the bin content was expected and, if so, if the determined change corresponds with the expected change.

  • Patent number: 11755779
Abstract: Systems and methodologies for generating a bridge file linking a subject identifier (Subject ID) (or a tokenized subject identifier), used to anonymize a subject in a trial, to tokenized personal identification information (PII), used to de-identify other data for the subject, without revealing the link between the subject identifier (subject ID) and the personal identifying information (PII) for the subject. The bridge file can then be used to link trial data for the subject anonymized with a subject ID to other data for the subject de-identified with tokenized PII.

  • Patent number: 11725857
Abstract: A system for a heat pump that allows the heat pump to work efficiently in extreme cold weathers. The system includes an evaporator influid communication with an expansion valve, the expansion valve can receive a liquid refrigerant from a condenser of the heat pump. The evaporator contains a pool of liquid refrigerant and an electric resistance heating source dipped in the pool of liquid refrigerant. The electric resistance heating source can heat the liquid refrigerant of the pool to generate vapors and thus maintaining a desired pressure within the heat pump.

  • Patent number: 11686551
Abstract: A handguard assembly for installation on a firearm includes a handguard, an index block, a first fastener, and a second fastener. The handguard includes first and second clearance apertures and the index block includes first and second threaded apertures. The first and second fasteners extend through the respective first and second clearance apertures and threaded into the respective first and second threaded apertures. The first and second fasteners define respective first and second longitudinal axes that are non-parallel and non-collinear with each other. Tightening the first and second fasteners with respect to the index block secures the handguard to the index block and prevents movement of the handguard relative firearm.

  • Patent number: 11674279
Abstract: A water supply control system is disclosed that comprises a computer-implemented control system coupled to a plurality of gates, one or more pumps, and a plurality of sensors. The computer-implemented control system is configured to receive a request to transfer excess water from a non-water supply lake to a water supply lake and determine, based at least in part on data from the plurality of sensors and geographic locations of the non-water supply lake and the water supply lake, whether transferring water as requested will cause or worsen a flood event. In response to a determination that transferring water as requested will not cause or worsen a flood event, the computer-implemented control system is further configured to issue a command to cause a gate associated with a dam at the non-water supply lake to open such that water is transferred from the non-water supply lake to the water supply lake.
