  • Publication number: 20190268078
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to acoustic data transmission using a spreading code. A system for acoustic data transmission includes an ingestible capsule and an acoustic receiver. The ingestible capsule includes a modulator, a spreader, and an acoustic transmitter. The modulator modulates data according to a modulation scheme. The spreader spreads the modulated data according to a spreading code. The acoustic transmitter acoustically transmits the modulated and spread data through a body of an animal. The acoustic. receiver includes an acoustic transducer a de-spreader and a demodulator. The acoustic transducer receives the acoustically transmitted signal and forms an electrical signal therefrom. The de-spreader de-spreads the received signal in accordance with the spreading code.

  • Patent number: 10393982
Abstract: A telecommunications box includes a base frame, having generally planar outer walls that form an enclosed loop around an interior volume. The outer walls include first and second sidewalls that are parallel to and spaced apart from one another. A flange adjoins front-facing edge sides of the outer walls and extends away from the outer walls in an opposite direction as the interior volume. A first window, which is partially defined by the front-facing edge sides of the outer walls, exposes the interior volume from a front side of the base frame. A second window, which is partially defined by rear-facing edge sides of the outer walls, exposes the interior volume from a rear side of the base frame. The first window occupies the same footprint in a front-facing position that the second window occupies in a rear-facing position that is rotationally reversed from the front-facing position.

  • Patent number: 10346784
Abstract: Receiving an event queue including unprocessed delivery events, each characterized by an event time. Iteratively, until a stopping condition, for an unprocessed event from the queue, setting a simulation time to the earliest event time; processing the unprocessed event; determining at least one simulated performance measure based on characteristics of system agents over the simulation period; and transmitting the determined performance measure for display. Where unprocessed event is a route planning event, processing includes requesting, and receiving, route planning from a shipping system of the near-term delivery system. Processing further comprises identifying events derivative from the unprocessed event, and adding the identified derivative events to the event queue. Processing further comprises updating the status of each agent as a function of derivative events and received route planning information.
