  • Patent number: 10373136
Abstract: An image of a check may be presented for payment in a banking system in place of the physical paper check. The check to be deposited can be collected from a depositor using a scanner. A web site, accessed through a depositor's web browser, can be used to drive the process of collecting the check, but in some contexts (e.g., in less popular computing environments, such as those that do not run the most popular operating systems), it is economically infeasible to obtain the certificates that would be used to allow a program executing in the web browser to control the scanner. Thus, a depositor can be instructed to capture and upload images of the check in the form of files, where the image files are then presented for payment through a banking system.

  • Patent number: 10281583
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments for detection of satellite system anomalies. An embodiment operates by receiving satellite signals from a plurality of sources via at least one satellite system receiver and determining the presence of anomalous satellite system activity by comparing an amount of signal strength drop of each of the satellite signals during a time period to a threat detection threshold and by comparing an amount of consistency of the satellite signals during the time period to the threat detection threshold.

  • Patent number: 10261598
Abstract: A user interface for an avionics interface device. The interface includes a display, selectable keys, and three annunciations. The keys include alphanumeric, functional, and line select keys. The functional keys are positioned above the display. The alphanumeric keys are positioned below the display. First and second portions of the line select keys are positioned along left and right side portions, respectively, of the display. All of the functional keys are separate and spaced apart from all of the alphanumeric keys. Pressing a line select key selects a line of the display that is positioned next to and aligned with the line select key. The annunciations identify a state of the avionics interface device. First and second annunciations indicate the device is configured to communicate with a Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications system and an Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System, respectively. A third annunciation indicates the device has encountered a failure.

  • Patent number: 10145311
Abstract: The Intelligent Fault Tolerant Throttle Body prevents unintended acceleration of vehicles. This invention solves this emergency by returning the throttle plate to a safe position when commanded by a driver Emergency Button or by brake actuation. The device is installed on a conventional throttle body and comprises an Emergency Button (EB) and a Throttle Motor Controller (TMC). The TMC is a micro controller contained inside the throttle body assembly that intercepts and modifies signals from the engine control unit (ECU) to the Throttle Body Motor (TBM) and monitors the brake switch signal and the throttle position sensor (TPS). The TMC has an internal accelerometer and a throttle pedal sensor input as well as other sensors which are used as additional confirmation of a true unintended acceleration condition and not resulting from ECU, wiring or sensor failures.

  • Publication number: 20180218006
Abstract: A Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) server is communicatively connected to an information management (IM) server and to an online application server which acts as a WOPI client of the WOPI server. When a user wishes to open, create, or edit a document in an online application hosted by the online application server, the WOPI server is called, instead of the IM server which manages the document at the backend of an enterprise computing network. The WOPI server is configured for obtaining a working copy of the document from the IM server and providing the working copy to the WOPI client. The WOPI client provides the working copy to the online application for display on the user device. When the work is done, the working copy is sync'd back through the WOPI server to the IM server as a new draft and deleted by the WOPI server.
