  • Publication number: 20180314879
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-readable non-transitory storage medium embodies software that is operable when executed to, in real time, capture, by a single sensor, a number of images of a user; determine, based on the number of images, one or more short-term cardiological signals of the user during a period of time; estimate, based on the cardiological signals, a first short-term emotional state of the user; determine, based on the number of images, one or more short-term neurological signals of the user during the period of time; estimate, based on the neurological signals, a second short-term emotional state of the user; compare the first estimated emotional state to the second estimated emotional state; and in response to a determination that the first estimated emotional state corresponds to the second estimated emotional state, determine a short-term emotion of the user during the period of time.

  • Publication number: 20180310842
Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-readable non-transitory storage medium embodies software that is operable when executed to, in real time, capture a number of images of a user; and determine a time-series signal for the user based on the plurality of images. The signal includes one or more segments that are physiologically plausible and one or more segments that are physiologically implausible. The software is further operable to identify one or more of the physiologically plausible sub-segments based on one or more pre-defined signal characteristics; and calculate one or more heartrate measurements based on the physiologically plausible sub-segments.

  • Patent number: 9896625
Abstract: An apparatus pyrolyzes waste plastics into fuel. The apparatus categorizes the waste plastic, and processes the categorized waste plastic to obtain kerosene, diesel fuel, gasoline etc. The apparatus includes a first heat exchange tank, a rough fuel storage tank, a second heat exchange tank, a diesel storage tank, and a kerosene storage tank. Combustible gas is extracted from the tanks via outlets thereof and stored in a gas storage tank. The combustible gas stored in the gas storage tank is fed into a combustion chamber of a pyrolysis furnace of the apparatus. A fuel-water separate tank is connected to the bottom of the rough fuel storage tank to separate fuel from water. The separated fuel is recycled into the combustion chamber to be burned again. Recycled paper with residual plastic films thereon has to be compressed into grains to facilitate a feeding operation.

  • Publication number: 20170318993
Abstract: A container lid assembly is provided with a press button opening capability. The lid assembly includes a first outlet opening and a second air opening. A valve member is provided in the lid to which a press button actuator is connected and moveable between a pushed down open position and a pulled up closed position. The press button actuator is connected to the valve member and is moveable between a pressed open position an extended closed position. A biasing member biases the actuator to the extended closed position and the actuator is pressed against the bias of the biasing means. A lock means is provided that controls movement of the actuator such that one press of the actuator causes the actuator to adopt one of the open or closed positions and a second press of the actuator causes the actuator to adopt the other of the open or closed positions.
