  • Patent number: 11944322
Abstract: A tourniquet apparatus comprises a cuff, a user interface, a controller, a protocol hazard key and a protocol safety interlock. The cuff encircles the patient's limb and applies a level of pressure. The UI presents a protocol symbol from a plurality of protocol symbols wherein each protocol symbol is indicative of a corresponding safety protocol. The controller is responsive to stored pressure levels and stored times specified by the safety protocol, after any adjustments by the user, and operable during the stored protocol time period for maintaining the level of pressure applied by the cuff to the individual patient near the plurality of stored pressure levels at the plurality of stored times. The protocol hazard key is actuatable to end the stored protocol time period while the controller is operable. The protocol safety interlock prevents selection of a second protocol symbol while the controller is operable.

  • Patent number: 11879855
Abstract: A system for non-destructive examination of three-dimensional (3D) printed objects includes a muon source directs muon particles at and through the 3D object and a muon detector receives the muon particles from the muon source to produce a muon signal which is representative of the 3D object. A first computing device executes an algorithm to analyze the muon signal. The analysis comprises creating a 3D rendering of the 3D object based upon the muon signal; preparing a physics-based digital model of the 3D object; and comparing the 3D rendered object to the digital model to identify defects within the 3D object. An augmented reality (AR) device and a second computing device may communicate with the first computing device and receive the 3d rendered object and the digital model. This can used on earth, in space, on a moon or asteroid or another planet as muons occur naturally in these environments.

  • Publication number: 20240020679
Abstract: The present invention tracks provenance (people, place, time, permissions, machine characterization and identification) for an off-chain digital asset, provides data verifiability and enforces least privileged access within a single organization or across multiple organizations via a combination of Blockchain and communication agents to enable data assured operations in a normal operating environment and Logistics Under Attack (LUA) environment. The present invention creates data assurance for a digital asset across networks and within environments as it tracks provenance of the digital asset at rest or in motion allowing a data file to move directly from the originator to a customer at the point of use or point of origin to point of use and all points in between in a prescribed or random flow.

  • Publication number: 20240013297
Abstract: A computer implemented method for controlling operational states of a hardware matching processor includes monitoring, by a circuit breaker, incoming electronic data transaction request messages to the hardware matching processor; dynamically defining a range of values as a function of values included with electronic data transaction request messages received during a rolling lookback window; detecting that an incoming electronic data transaction request message contains a value outside the range of values; transitioning the electronic data transaction processing system into a pre-open state for a predetermined period, thereby preventing the hardware matching processor from matching incoming electronic data transaction request messages; calculating a pre-open value at an end of the pre-open state; and re-opening the electronic data transaction processing system at the calculated pre-open value, thereby allowing the hardware matching processor to match incoming electronic data transaction request messages.
