  • Publication number: 20230270052
Abstract: A flow distribution assembly provides air circulation to a rack-based vertical gardening system. The distribution assembly includes a housing having air inlet and outlet portions. At least one elongated duct has an end fluidly coupled to housing’s air outlet portion, the duct adapted to extend along a shelf of the rack, to an opposite end thereof. A fan is fluidly coupled to the housing’s air inlet portion and is supportable by the rack so that it can direct ambient air into the air inlet portion. The duct has a plurality of openings arranged to direct air at a plant growing area of the gardening system when the distribution assembly is mounted on a rack system. Optionally, the air inlet portion is positionable laterally outboard of plant growing regions of the vertical gardening system.

  • Patent number: 11734410
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for automatically controlling access and limiting functionality of a computer workstation based on which user is currently logged in. In some implementations, an overwatch application is installed on the workstations to be controlled and monitored. If an authorized, but limited, user logs in, the overwatch application can initiate a lockdown process on the workstation. In some instances, the lockdown process is managed by a dedicated lockdown application, which is initiated or notified from the overwatch application, and which can initiate a lockdown of particular applications, functionality, and allowed interactions on the workstation until the limited user has completed their task and a new user logs in.

  • Patent number: 11723670
Abstract: An automatic tourniquet apparatus comprises a tourniquet cuff, a pressure transducer, a user interface, a patient hazard shield and a pressure regulator. The pressure transducer produces a cuff pressure signal. The user interface produces a reference pressure signal. The patient hazard shield is responsive to the cuff pressure signal and the reference pressure signal, and operable during a regulation time period to produce a patient hazard signal if, in one implementation, a current level of pressure in the tourniquet cuff is greater than the reference level of pressure by at least a predetermined overpressure limit. The pressure regulator is responsive to the patient hazard signal, and has a pressurizing element for increasing pressure in the cuff and a depressurizing element for decreasing pressure in the cuff. The pressurizing element is configured to be non-responsive if the patient hazard signal is produced.
