  • Patent number: 7290820
Abstract: A pickup truck cargo box includes a cargo floor and a panel being movably mounted with respect to the cargo floor. The panel is movable between a stowed position and an upright position, in which the panel extends higher into a cargo area to form a compartment within the cargo area. The panel prevents the shifting of cargo during transport when upright, and is stowable to maximize the uninterrupted cargo area available.

  • Publication number: 20070141324
Abstract: An electrical insulation paper that is made of mica flakelets (22), having an average size range of 0.01 to 0.05 mm in their thinnest dimension, hexagonal boron nitride (26), which has an average size range of 10 to 1,000 nm in their longest dimension, and a resin matrix. The mica flakelets and the hexagonal boron nitride are mixed and formed into a paper (17), and the resin is added to the paper after formation, the ratio by weight of the hexagonal boron nitride to the mica flakelets is directly proportional to the average size of the hexagonal boron nitride compared to the average size of the mica flakelets, within an adjustment factor.

  • Publication number: 20030173001
Abstract: A method of making a stabilizer bar from a tubular blank to which a bonding agent is applied to the inside surface of opposite ends of the tube. The tube may be provided with tubular inserts that are also provided with a bonding agent. The bonding agent may be an adhesive that is cured and then the bonding agent is placed in an oven to melt the bonding agent. The ends are swaged to shape and the ends of the tube are trimmed and pierced to form a fastener eyelet in each end. The stabilizer bar is then heated for hot working to form the bends along the length of the bar. After forming to shape, the stabilizer bar is quenched and annealed.

  • Patent number: 6547894
Abstract: A method of making a stabilizer bar from a tubular blank to which a mixture of an adhesive and powdered metal is applied to the inside surface of opposite ends of the tube. The adhesive is cured and then the fuseweld powder is placed in an oven to melt the fuseweld powder. The ends are swagged to shape flat tubes ends that are trimmed and pierced to form a fastener eyelet in each end. The stabilizer bar is then heated for hot working to form the bends along the length of the bar. After forming to shape, the stabilizer bar is quenched and annealed.

  • Patent number: 5560058
Abstract: A sleeping surface divider that provides a shield between the heads and upper bodies of two people sleeping in one bed. The divider has two parts, a shield (FIG. 2) and a support part (FIG. 3). The shield is made of thick, soft and resiliant material and has a hole (1) cut into it for attaching the support. The support is also made of the same material and is used to hold the shield in a vertical position. The support has a cut out (2) in it which allows it to stand flat on the sleeping surface when inserted into the hole in the shield.

  • Patent number: 4256130
Abstract: A control valve arrangement implementing the use of pneumatic valves to control air flow for textile machinery blowdown, and the remote control of such pneumatic valves by means of remotely located solenoid valves. In air flow systems employing pneumatic valves of the type having a constrictable flexible annulus arranged within a rigid conduit with air under pressure selectively admissible to a space between the annulus and the surrounding conduit wall so as to effect constriction of the annulus to close off the passage through the conduit, solenoid actuated control valves have conventionally been employed to control the flow of fluid to said space between annulus and conduit to effect annulus constriction. Where these solenoid actuated control valves are located at control points which are remote from the pneumatic valve, it is found that the release of the annulus constricting air pressure is delayed due to the time delay between solenoid actuation and pressure change at the remote pneumatic valve.

  • Patent number: 4169623
Abstract: Extensible hand rails are adjustably mounted in vertical guide tubes positioned at the rear of a van or trailer. These hand rails may be moved into retracted positions and held in this position so that the tops of the hand rails will lie flush with the floor of the vehicle. Spring means is used for moving the hand rails into extended or operative position to act as guards and the hand rails may be secured in their operative or extended position.
