  • Patent number: 10699279
Abstract: Compliance with retail display regulations that retailers are subject to within a plurality of jurisdictions is managed. Retail display regulations may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. To facilitate compliance, retail display regulations for a plurality of jurisdictions are centrally maintained. The regulations may then be used to dynamically generate retail display materials for locations across a plurality of jurisdictions with different regulatory schemes. The central storage and/or maintenance of the retail display regulations may facilitate compliance with disparate regulatory schemes that retailers are subject to based in part of retail location. Central storage of the retail display regulations may facilitate certification of compliance by regulating entities associated with the jurisdictions.

  • Patent number: 10603629
Abstract: Methods and systems for control and adjustment of the feed rate of mercury reemission control additives (MECA) to a wet flue gas desulfurization system. • Publication number: 20200043096
Abstract: A trading platform for trading financial instruments, and in particular for generating pre-trade prices. In an exemplary embodiment, the trading platform includes computer software modules and provides graphical user interfaces to accept dealer bids and offers, aggregate the dealer positions, generate a pre-trade price, permit dealers to opt-in to a matching process (the sweep), and determine matches by comparing the positions and potential opposing positions. The trading systems and methods may generate a yield curve from the dealer bids and offers which may be used for the valuation of positions and collateral. The trading platform is also capable of matching orders and sending orders to be executed.

  • Publication number: 20190143266
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for treating flue gas, for example from a coal fired power plant. The systems and methods include control of a wet flue gas desulfurization (WFGD) system to manage sulfite concentration in a slurry produced by the WFGD system. Oxygen is added to the slurry in an amount sufficient to produce a sulfite concentration in the slurry in the range of about 5 to 75 mg/L, an oxidation reduction potential in the range of about 100-250 mV, or both. The systems and methods also include the biological treatment to remove selenium from a liquid fraction of the slurry. The liquid fraction is treated in a biological reactor maintained under anoxic or anaerobic conditions to reduce its selenium concentration.
