  • Publication number: 20240347397
Abstract: A method to deposit a multi-layer stack for device applications includes implementing a model driven target selection for deposition. One or more targets may be procured with an initial stoichiometric composition or elemental purity. The targets may be utilized to form the multi-layer stack, and measurements may be made of chemical composition and electrical properties of the multi-layer stack. The measurements may be compared to reference target values and if measurement results are not within tolerance, the composition of the targets can be changed to yield a successive multi-layer stack. The process can be iterated until measurement results are within tolerance of target results. Additional experimentation with post deposition thermal anneal can be performed to optimize multi-layer stack properties.

  • Patent number: 12097777
Abstract: Methods and systems for predicting a potential alternator failure in a motor vehicle are provided. The method includes determining a potential alternator undercharging condition if a duration between the maximum cranking voltage time stamp and the maximum device voltage time stamp is greater than an undercharging indicator duration threshold. Advantageously, an alternator may be repaired or replaced before it fails thus averting having the motor vehicle become inoperable.

  • Patent number: 12094455
Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively ignoring an occurrence of a wakeword within audio input data is provided herein. In some embodiments, a wakeword may be detected to have been uttered by an individual within a modified time window, which may account for hardware delays and echoing offsets. The detected wakeword that occurs during this modified time window may, in some embodiments, correspond to a word included within audio that is outputted by a voice activated electronic device. This may cause the voice activated electronic device to activate itself, stopping the audio from being outputted. By identifying when these occurrences of the wakeword within outputted audio are going to happen, the voice activated electronic device may selectively determine when to ignore the wakeword, and furthermore, when not to ignore the wakeword.

  • Patent number: 12094511
Abstract: A disturb mitigation scheme is described for a 1TnC or multi-element ferroelectric gain bit-cell where after writing to a selected capacitor of the bit-cell, a cure phase is initiated. Between the cure phase and the write phase, there may be zero or more cycles where the selected word-line, bit-line, and plate-lines are pulled-down to ground. The cure phase may occur immediately before the write phase. In the cure phase, the word-line is asserted again just like in the write phase. In the cure phase, the voltage on bit-line is inverted compared to the voltage on the bit-line in the write phase. By programming a value in a selected capacitor to be opposite of the value written in the write phase of that selected capacitor, time accumulation of disturb is negated. This allows to substantially zero out disturb field on the unselected capacitors of the same bit-cell and/or other unselected bit-cells.

  • Publication number: 20240305662
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, systems and program products extending traditional cloud-centric intrusion detection to edge networks. NIDPS is decentralized between the edge and cloud. Edge gateways equipped with NIDPS agents capture packets of network traffic and pre-process the data. Pre-processing output is compressed and sent to cloud intrusion detection services equipped with latest available rules and signatures. As cloud IDS detects security threats using rules and signatures, NIDPS agents are alerted and switched from “lazy mode” to “preventative mode.” While in preventative mode, NIDPS agents inspect packets of network traffic in accordance with the rules and signatures associated with the detected security threat, dropping packets that trigger the rules and signatures, while still compressing and transmitting other packets to cloud IDS for analysis.
