  • Patent number: 11345443
Abstract: A status monitoring system and the devices used for the status monitoring system is disclosed. The status monitoring system includes a controller device, a plurality of rod monitoring devices, and a motor monitoring device which works together to provide a layered approach to securing the boat. The controller device is configured to communicate with a smart device via cellular network. The controller device triggers an alert once it detects unexpected events on the boat or receives intrusion notifications from other devices in the status monitoring system. Unexpected events can include the boat moving out of the geofence, boat vibration, and unexpected starting of the vehicle. A method for monitoring the status of the boat is also disclosed. The method can include receiving an activation signal, receiving a GPS signal, receiving vibration signals, energizing the siren and transmitting notification and boat location to the cloud when detecting at least one trigger.

  • Patent number: 11321721
Abstract: A computer based system for remapping prime class seat bookings is disclosed. The system remaps prime class bookings a floor class, or if the floor class is closed, into a higher, displacement class. Via remapping, airline systems, such as inventory management systems, revenue management systems, and the like, may better account for the true value of prime class bookings.

  • Patent number: 11254459
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a box sealer including a first box measurer including a top flap engager configured to move downwardly from a disengaged position above a box at a box measuring position to an engaged position in which the top flap engager engages one or more of the four upright open top flaps of the box. The amount of movement of the top flap engager is partially used to determine the height of the box. The determined height is then used to position a combined flap closer and flap sealer at an appropriate position.

  • Patent number: 11221434
Abstract: Certain aspects pertain to a cloud detector comprising a first detector module directed to a first region of the sky and a second detector module directed to a second region of the sky. Each detector module has a tube enclosing one or more sensing elements. The one or more sensing elements of the first detector module are configured to take weather condition readings from the first region of the sky. The one or more sensing elements of the second detector module are configured to take weather condition readings from the second region of the sky. In one aspect, the cloud detector is configured to detect cloud cover based on these weather condition readings. In some cases, the one or more sensing elements comprise an infrared radiation detector (e.g., thermopile) for measuring infrared radiation intensity and a photosensor element for measuring sunlight intensity.

  • Patent number: 11167549
Abstract: A method for adjusting a modifiable printing parameter of each of a plurality of printing elements of a printing device includes printing a plurality of test charts for each of the printing elements at different values of the modifiable printing parameter; measuring a variance of a printing density for each of the test charts; analyzing the measured variances for each of the printing elements; individually selecting a value of the modifiable printing parameter for each of the printing elements based on the analysis; and applying the selected value of the modifiable printing parameter for each of the printing elements to the printing device. Software density compensation can be applied to further reduce the variance of the printing density.

  • Publication number: 20200374268
Abstract: According to one aspect disclosed herein, a cloud-native firewall system can receive, from a client operating in a first network, a request for access to a service operating in a second network. In response, the cloud-native firewall system can retrieve, from a service registry, metadata associated with the service. The cloud-native firewall system can execute, based at least in part upon the metadata, a policy rule to determine whether to allow/deny the client access to the service. The metadata can include a dynamic IP address and a port number associated with a system that provides, at least in part, the service. The metadata can further include an authentication type and an authentication provider. If the cloud-native firewall system determines to allow access to the service, the cloud-native firewall can forward the request to the service for processing. Otherwise, the cloud-native firewall system can block access to the service.

  • Patent number: 10755207
Abstract: In a computerized remapping system for airline seat bookings, actual airline seat bookings are restated in a remapped form reflecting the value of each leg of the booking from a network perspective, facilitating improved demand forecasts for subsequent seat bookings. In this manner, seat protects and seat pricing may be better allocated to align with actual demand.
