  • Publication number: 20210072927
Abstract: A computer program product, system, and method to manage access to storage resources from multiple applications. A plurality of virtual controllers is generated in a host memory space. Each virtual controller includes at least one virtual namespace that maps to a physical namespace in a physical controller. Applications are assigned to the virtual controllers. For each application of the applications assigned one of the virtual controllers, a virtual submission queue is generated to communicate with the virtual controller assigned to the application. An Input/Output (I/O) request to a target virtual namespace in one of the virtual submission queues is added to a physical submission queue for the physical controller having the physical namespace for which the target virtual namespace was generated.

  • Patent number: 10716882
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for efficient expression of breast milk is provided. The device comprises a horn having a funnel for receiving a breast and a tube extending downwards from the funnel and removably connected to a first end of a main body. The main body has a stem extending downwards from a second end. The horn portion of the device can vary in size depending on the user need to accommodate varying sizes. A flexible cylindrical diaphragm and a valve is provided and are configured to engage and create a sealing between the lower portion of the main body and a container for receiving the breast milk. The use of the cylindrical diaphragm creates minor stress points along the surface of the diaphragm, thereby making it difficult to tear or damage during repeated operation and cleaning.

  • Patent number: 10710565
Abstract: The disclosure relates to controlling braking behaviors a vehicle in an autonomous driving mode in the event of a hydraulic system failure. For instance, the vehicle may be controlled in the autonomous driving mode according to a first braking control behavior based on a first relationship between position of a brake pedal of the vehicle and amount of deceleration for the vehicle. While controlling the vehicle, a failure of a hydraulic system may be determined. Based on the determination, the vehicle may be controlled in the autonomous driving mode according to a second braking control behavior by moving the brake pedal until the vehicle reaches a deceleration target defined by the second braking control behavior.
