  • Publication number: 20200004865
Abstract: In an example, a method may include receiving input effective to select a visualization type of multiple different visualization types to apply to a visualization of data. The selected visualization type may be associated with a contract. Each of the different visualization types may be associated with a specific contract. Each contract may include a corresponding schema that specifies a set of data fields and one or more relationships between data fields in the set to generate and display a corresponding visualization having a corresponding visualization type. The method may also include mapping at least some data of a data source to the contract such that the contract is satisfied. The method may also include displaying the visualization of the at least some data of the data source based on the contract, the displayed visualization having the selected visualization type.

  • Publication number: 20200004866
Abstract: In an example, a method may include generating a semantic layout of a visualization based on a contract associated with a visualization type. The method may also include receiving input effective to alter a set of one or more graphical objects to display for each of some but not all data objects of a data source from a default set of one or more graphical objects to a custom set of one or more graphical objects. The method may also include generating a concrete layout of the visualization that specifies the set of one or more graphical objects to display for each of the data objects, including the default set for a first data object and the custom set for a second data object. The method also includes displaying the visualization based on the contract, the semantic layout, and the concrete layout, the visualization having the visualization type.

  • Publication number: 20200004872
Abstract: In an example, a method to interact with a visualization of data may include mapping at least some data of a data source to a contract such that the contract is satisfied. The method may also include displaying a visualization of the at least some data of the data source based on the contract. The displayed visualization includes multiple graphical objects that graphically represent the at least some data of the data source. The method may also include receiving input effective to alter a first graphical object of the graphical objects. The method may also include determining that the alteration to the first graphical object implicates a change to a first data object of the at least some data of the data source.

  • Patent number: 10502528
Abstract: A target designator for a guided weapon is disclosed. The designator has a sight arranged to display, in operation, a reticule superimposed upon a field of view. The reticule is moveable within the field of view. The designator further comprises an eye tracker operable to track the gaze of the operator whilst the operator uses the sight. • Publication number: 20190371380
Abstract: One or more control lines other than those used to activate a non-volatile memory cell may be used to sense a data value of the cell. For example, an apparatus may include a selection circuit that selects, based on an address corresponding to a non-volatile memory cell included an array of non-volatile memory cells, a word line coupled to the non-volatile memory cells to activate the non-volatile memory cell. An amplifier circuit may sense a data value stored in the non-volatile memory cell based on a sense signal having a voltage level based on voltage levels of one or more other word lines of the array of non-volatile memory cells. In another example, a data value of a non-volatile memory cell coupled to a word line may be sensed based on the voltage levels of one or more dummy sense lines within the array.

  • Publication number: 20180305840
Abstract: Protein arrays and their use to assay, in a parallel fashion, the protein products of highly homologous or related DNA coding sequences and described. By highly homologous or related it is meant those DNA coding sequences which share a common sequence and which differ only by one or more naturally occurring mutations such as single nucleotide polymorphisms, deletions or insertions, or those sequences which are considered to be haplotypes. Such highly homologous or related DNA coding sequences are generally naturally occurring variants of the same gene. Arrays according to the invention have two or more individual proteins deposited in a spatially defined pattern on a surface in a form whereby a property such as an activity or function of the proteins can be investigated or assayed in parallel by interrogation of the array.

  • Patent number: 8999897
Abstract: The use of a tag moiety comprising a biotinylation domain, such as biotin carboxyl carrier protein (BCCP), as a protein folding marker and protein solubility enhancer in the orientated surface capture of products of heterologously expressed genes is described. Methods for increasing the solubility of proteins and determining the folded state of a protein are also disclosed. The uses and methods of the invention can be carried out in a multiplexed manner on more than one protein in the formation of libraries. In addition the nucleic acid molecule encoding the biotinylation domain of the tag moiety can be used to increase the proportion of clones in a library that express the protein of interest.
