  • Publication number: 20210184710
Abstract: A power amplifier module can include one or more switches, a coupler module, input signal pins, and a controller having first and second output terminals. The input signal pins can receive a voltage input/output signal, a clock input signal, and a data input signal. The controller can (i) set a mode of the one or more switches using a synchronous communication protocol in which the controller outputs a synchronous clock signal on the first output terminal and a data signal on the second output terminal, when the power amplifier module is in a first operating mode, or (ii) set a mode of the coupler module using an asynchronous communication protocol in which the controller outputs a first asynchronous control signal on the first output terminal and a second asynchronous control signal on the second output terminal, when the power amplifier module is in a second operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20210170548
Abstract: The device includes a holder for retaining the knife blade in a fixed position with the cutting edge accessible from above. One end of a moveable abrasive part is situated above the cutting edge. The other end of the abrasive part is supported by a retaining member and sets the angle of the abrasive part relative to the knife blade when the abrasive surface contacts the cutting edge. The cutting edge is sharpened as the abrasive part in contact with the cutting edge is moved along the length of the knife blade. The abrasive part may be a stone or a rod with an abrasive surface. The retaining part may have a ring shape or take the form of a clamp which attaches to the stone in different positions.

  • Publication number: 20210173807
Abstract: Low noise serial interfaces with gated clock are provided herein. In certain configurations herein, a slave device of a serial interface includes a shift register for serially shifting in an interface data signal based on timing of an interface clock signal, a control circuit (for instance, a finite-state machine) for controlling the slave device, and a register bank for storing data programmed to the slave device via the serial interface. The control circuit cuts off or gates the interface clock signal in response to determining that an interface command received over the serial interface is not intended for the slave device.

  • Patent number: 11022146
Abstract: There is provided a fan assembly comprising a motor-driven impeller for creating an airflow and a nozzle comprising a first air outlet. The nozzle defines a bore through which air from outside the fan assembly is drawn by any portion of the airflow that is emitted from the first outlet and which combines with the airflow emitted from the first air outlet to produce an amplified airflow. The fan assembly further comprises a second air outlet arranged such that any portion of the airflow that is emitted from the second air outlet does not draw air through the bore defined by the nozzle thereby producing a non-amplified airflow.

  • Patent number: 11017558
Abstract: Described herein is a method of registering a position and an orientation of one or more cameras in a camera imaging system. The method includes: receiving, from a depth imaging device, data indicative of a three dimensional image of the scene. The three dimensional image is calibrated with a reference frame relative to the scene. The reference frame includes a reference position and reference orientation. A three dimensional position of each of the cameras within the three dimensional image is determined relative to the reference frame. An orientation of each camera is determined to relative to the reference frame. The position and orientation of each camera is combined to determine a camera pose relative to the reference frame.

  • Patent number: 10934021
Abstract: A method for aligning and joining a first structure to a second structure in an aircraft is provided. A spacer system having a shape memory alloy is positioned in a gap between the first structure and the second structure. The shape memory alloy is initially in a cooled state. A temperature of the shape memory alloy is increased such that the shape memory alloy changes from the cooled shape to a heated shape to fill the gap and apply a load to hold the first structure in place relative to the second structure. Additional processes may then be performed to join the first structure to the second structure.

  • Patent number: 10909721
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods of determining a pose of a camera within a vehicle scene. In one embodiment, a method includes the initial step of capturing an image of the vehicle scene from the camera. At step, reference data indicative of the vehicle scene is loaded, the reference data includes positions and orientations of known features within the vehicle scene. Next, at step, the geometric appearance of one or more of the known features is identified within the image. Finally, at step, the three dimensional position and orientation of the camera relative to the known features identified in step c) is determined from the geometric appearance, and a pose of the camera within the vehicle scene is calculated.
