  • Patent number: 11804791
Abstract: There is provided a vibrational energy harvester comprising: a frame, a flexure assembly coupled to the frame, the flexure assembly comprising a flexure configured to flex in a first direction relative to the frame and a mass fixed to the flexure, wherein when the mass is displaced in the first direction from a rest position, the flexure provides a restoring force on the mass to bring the mass back to the rest position, and a transduction assembly configured to convert movement of the mass and flexure into electrical energy, wherein the frame comprises a cavity positioned so that, if the mass is displaced in the first direction beyond a threshold distance, a portion of the flexure assembly extends into the cavity so that compression or restriction of fluid in the cavity applies an additional force on the flexure assembly.

  • Publication number: 20220086546
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables retention of an audio component on a mounting surface using a clip and a flange. In a particular embodiment, an apparatus includes a mounting surface including a flange. The flange is substantially cylindrical and includes a first portion for positioning a frame of an audio component therein under a retaining rim of the flange. The rim includes a second portion of the flange with a smaller inner diameter than the first portion of the flange. When the frame is positioned in the first portion of the flange, a clip positioned in the first portion of the flange between the frame and the retaining rim of the flange retains the audio component within the flange. Manipulating the shape of the clip allows the clip to fit through the retaining rim and into the first portion of the flange.

  • Publication number: 20220001059
Abstract: Described herein are methods, devices and systems for decontaminating respiratory medical devices and equipment. Decontamination includes removing humidity from an interior of a respiratory equipment decontamination chamber after an interior thereof is sealed to exclude ambient air. The interior of the decontamination chamber is conditioned by introducing vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VHP) thereto to achieve a target concentration, which is maintained at a predetermined concentration for a decontamination period. The interior of the decontamination chamber is then aerated. Other examples are disclosed and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20190153438
Abstract: Provided herein are methods of producing molar amounts of nucleic acids in a sample by using fixed molar amounts of primers and amplifying nucleic acids in the sample through a sufficient number of rounds to use all the primer. The methods may be used on a plurality of separate samples to produce samples with molar amounts of nucleic acids that are the same, or substantially the same, or that are related in known molar ratios. Further provided herein are normalized, optionally pooled nucleic acid libraries.
