  • Publication number: 20180237406
Abstract: Described herein are phenylsulfonamido-benzofuran derivatives, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions, methods, uses, and kits involving compounds of Formulae (I), (II), (III), (IV), (V), or (VI) for treating and/or preventing proliferative diseases (e.g. cancers, inflammatory diseases, and autoimmune diseases) in a subject. The compounds and pharmaceutical compositions as described herein inhibit at least one protein of the BCL-2 family in a biological sample or subject to treat and/or prevent a proliferative disease. In certain embodiments, compounds described herein are selective inhibitors of MCL-1, a BCL-2 family member protein.

  • Publication number: 20060106503
Abstract: In a method of thermal management, a temperature is sensed and compared with a first preset temperature. The lowest priority load is disabled in response to the temperature being equal to the first preset temperature.
    Type: Application

Inventors: John Lamb, James Hsieh, Jeffrey Jouper
  • Publication number: 20060068482
Abstract: A novel protease, Taspase1, is described. Taspase1 is involved in the cleavage of the MLL protein, which is required for proper HOX gene regulation. Diagnostic methods utilizing Taspase1 are provided, as well as inhibitors of Taspase1. Methods of using the inhibitors of Taspase1 are also described. For example an inhibitor of Taspase1 can be used to treat a cancer, e.g., leukemia, in a subject.
