  • Patent number: 8210676
Abstract: A fisherman can clip a left reading glass frame to the left side of his visor. He can clip a right reading glass frame to the right side of his visor. He can bend the flex arm connected to the clip to store each lens above the visor in a passive mode. When reading glass focus is needed, perhaps to tie the fly onto the leader, he bends each frame half down in front of his eye and connects the two halves to provide a pair of reading glasses.

  • Patent number: 8151260
Abstract: A method for providing an image of software installed on a computer system is disclosed. The method includes the steps of deconstructing the image into at least one portion and creating at least one module from the at least one portion of the image. The deconstructing step can include the steps of scanning an image and identifying at least one portion of the image to be modularized. The creating step can include the steps of extracting the at least one portion of the image identified to be modularized, generating at least one module from the extracted portion of the image. The modules that are created in accordance with the present invention can be formatted for use in a new image or part of a new image to be used with a software program such as with a hardware-independent imaging tool. Further, the modules can be used with hardware-independent technologies.

  • Patent number: 8072472
Abstract: A system and method for scaling a composite overlay image, wherein the composite overlay image comprises a plurality of pixels and each pixel comprises at least one color channel and at least one alpha channel, and further wherein at least one pixel of the composite overlay image has an alpha value of zero and a color value that is not well defined. First, a set of pixels of the composite overlay image are identified as pixels to be dilated. The color channels of the identified pixels are then dilated to form dilated composite overlay image. Finally, the dilated composite overlay image is scaled.

  • Patent number: 7818567
Abstract: A method for protecting Security Accounts Manager (SAM) files within a Windows® operating system is disclosed. A SAM file encryption key is generated by encrypting a SAM file via a syskey utility provided within the Windows® operating system. The SAM file encryption key is then stored in a virtual floppy disk by selecting an option to store SAM file encryption key to a floppy disk under the syskey utility. A blob is generated by performing a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) Seal command against the SAM file encryption key along with a value stored in a Performance Control Register and a TPM Storage Root Key. The blob is stored in a non-volatile storage area of a computer.

  • Patent number: 7496242
Abstract: An image transformation system and method for transforming a source image having source image pixel data associated with a source pixel array having an origin into a target image having target image pixel data associated with a target pixel array according to an image transformation. The image transformation is applied to the source image pixel data to generate transformed image pixel data. The transformed image pixel data is then compared to the target pixel array and the portion of the transformed image pixel data that fits within the target pixel array is determined. The portion of the source image pixel data that corresponds to the portion of the transformed image pixel data is determined. Finally, the image transformation is applied to the portion of the source image pixel data to generate the target image pixel data.
