  • Publication number: 20200131068
Abstract: Wastewater may be reconditioned for re-use in a food processing line. The wastewater is subjected to coarse particle separation on the wastewater to create first stage water, after which large and small particles in the first stage water are separated in a liquid waste separator to create a second stage water. The second stage water is directed to a flocculation settling tank to aggregate remaining solids, and the remaining solids are removed to create a third stage water. Finally, the third stage water is treated with at least one of UV light and chemical antimicrobials to create reusable water. The reusable water is delivered upstream to reduce fresh water requirements. Ferrate (IV) is an exemplary antimicrobial that has broad applications in the food processing line.

  • Patent number: 10523554
Abstract: A system and method for diagnosing a problem on a packet network. Network performance information associated with data packet communications over a packet network may be collected. A network performance information parameter may be monitored and a determination that the network performance information parameter crosses a threshold value may be made. In response to determining that the network performance information parameter crossed the threshold value, diagnostics may be initiated to determine a cause of the network performance information parameter crossing the threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10469385
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include a method, apparatus, and computer program product for modifying a three-dimensional geocellular model. For example, one disclosed embodiment includes a system that includes at least one processor and at least one memory coupled to the at least one processor. The memory stores instructions that when executed by the at least one processor performs operations that includes gathering network performance information regarding data flow communicated with a client of a network over a plurality of connections utilizing performance information packets; and automatically balancing the data flow of the plurality of connections between access points of the network that are available to the client using connection admission control engines.

  • Patent number: 10298476
Abstract: A system and method for tracking application resource usage. Network performance information of a communications network is gathered using performance information packet data packets. The network performance information is communicated to an application. Instructions in the application are executed in response to receiving the network performance information.

  • Patent number: 9929923
Abstract: A system and method for provisioning resources of a packet network, including monitoring at least one network performance information parameter associated with communications of data packets. The at least one network performance information parameter(s) may be compared with at least one respective threshold value indicative of degradation of communications of the data packets. A determination may be made that the network performance information parameter(s) crosses the respective threshold value(s). In response to determining that the network performance information parameter(s) crosses the respective threshold value(s), a network resource may be provisioned to compensate for the degradation of communications of the data packets.

  • Patent number: 9660917
Abstract: A system and method for controlling communications networks. Network performance information is gathered from a first communications network using performance information packet data packets. A network operator of the first communications network is controlled from a secondary communications network using the performance information packet data packets. Changes to the network operator are implemented based on instructions included in the performance information packet data packets.

  • Patent number: 9602265
Abstract: A system and method for handling communications requests. Network performance information of a communications network is gathered using PIP data packets to determine a status of a number of nodes of the communications network. Available bandwidth through connections of the communications network are determined based on the PIP data packets. The available bandwidth for a number of customers is allocated for new connections and utilized bandwidth through the connections as the utilized bandwidth changes across the communications network.
